December 25th 2025 – The Light of the World

Scripture Reading:
“The true light that gives light to everyone was coming into the world.” (John 1:9)

Reflection:

On this Christmas Day, we gather to celebrate the miraculous birth of Jesus, the true light that brings hope and joy to our lives. His coming into the world was not just a historical event; it signifies the arrival of divine love and grace. In a world often shrouded in darkness—filled with uncertainty, fear, and despair—Jesus shines brightly, illuminating our paths and showing us the way to peace and fulfillment.

Imagine the night when the shepherds received the angelic announcement. Their lives were simple and filled with routine, yet in that moment, everything changed. The light of Christ pierced through their ordinary existence, inviting them into something extraordinary. This same light is available to us today, inviting us to step out of darkness and into His marvelous light.

As we reflect on the significance of this day, let’s consider how we can embody the light of Christ in our daily lives. Our actions, words, and attitudes can serve as reflections of His love. In a time when so many are struggling—whether through loneliness, grief, or hardship—our kindness can make a profound difference.

This Christmas, let us not only celebrate the gift we have received but also commit to sharing that gift with others. We can bring hope to those who feel hopeless, joy to those who feel sorrowful, and love to those who feel alone.

In what specific ways can I be a light to someone who is struggling today?

Take a moment to reach out to those around you. Offer a kind gesture, a listening ear, or an encouraging word. Whether it’s a phone call to check in on a friend or a small act of kindness for a stranger, let your actions reflect the light of Christ. This Christmas, let’s not just celebrate the light; let’s share it!

May your Christmas Day be filled with the warmth of love, the joy of giving, and the light of Christ shining brightly in your life!

Prayer:

Dear Lord, on this beautiful Christmas Day, we come before You with hearts full of gratitude for the incredible gift of Your Son, the light of the world. Thank You for sending Jesus to guide us through the darkness and for the hope He brings into our lives.

As we celebrate His birth, may we reflect on the true meaning of this season. Help us to recognize the moments of light in our own lives and to carry that light into the lives of others. Strengthen us to be instruments of Your peace and love, especially to those who are hurting or in need.

Lord, open our eyes to the opportunities around us where we can shine Your light. May our words be filled with encouragement, our actions be filled with kindness, and our hearts overflow with compassion.

Let the joy of the Christmas season inspire us to spread love and hope, not just today, but every day. May we embrace the calling to be a light in this world, reflecting Your love in all that we do. In Your precious and Holy name, Amen.

December 24th 2025 – A Night of Hope and Joy

Scripture Reading:
“But the angel said to them, ‘Do not be afraid. I bring you good news that will cause great joy for all the people.'” (Luke 2:10)

Reflection:
On this Christmas Eve, we gather in anticipation and gratitude, reflecting on the profound message delivered by the angel to the shepherds. This announcement came in the midst of darkness and uncertainty, reminding us that even in our most fearful moments, God brings hope and joy.

The angel’s words, “Do not be afraid,” resonate deeply. They remind us that fear has no place in the hearts of those who believe in the Good News. The birth of Jesus is indeed a source of great joy—not just for a select few, but for all people. It is a universal message of love, grace, and redemption.

As we celebrate this holy night, let us remember that the joy of Christmas is rooted in the promise of Emmanuel, God with us. It is a joy that transcends circumstances, offering peace and assurance in the knowledge that we are never alone.

Spend a few moments in silence, reflecting on the joy that Christ brings to your life and how you can share that joy with others this season. Consider reaching out to someone who may need encouragement or support, embodying the message of hope and love that Christmas represents.

As you conclude this devotion, carry the angel’s message of joy in your heart, allowing it to guide you through the festivities of Christmas and beyond. Remember, the good news is for you, for your family, and for all people. Merry Christmas!

“On this holy night, may we embrace the joy of Christ’s birth, letting His light dispel our fears and fill our hearts with the promise of hope for all.”

Prayer:

Heavenly Father, On this sacred night, we come before You with hearts full of gratitude for the incredible gift of Your Son, Jesus. Thank You for sending Him into our world to bring light into our darkness and hope into our despair. As we reflect on the angel’s message, we ask that You help us to truly understand the depth of the joy that His birth brings to our lives.

Lord, help us to cast aside our fears and anxieties. In a world filled with uncertainties, remind us that we can find solace in Your presence. May Your peace wash over us, calming our hearts and minds. Fill us with the joy that comes from knowing we are loved unconditionally and that we have a purpose in You.

We pray for those who are struggling this Christmas—those who feel lonely, lost, or afraid. May they experience the warmth of Your love and the joy of Your presence in their lives. Help us to be vessels of Your grace, reaching out to those in need and sharing the Good News of great joy with everyone we encounter.

As we celebrate with family and friends, may our gatherings be filled with laughter, love, and gratitude. Let us remember those who cannot be with us, and may we hold them in our thoughts and prayers. We ask that You bless our time together, reminding us of the true meaning of this season.

Thank You, Lord, for the hope that Christmas brings. May we carry that hope in our hearts throughout the year, sharing the light of Christ with a world that needs it so desperately. In Jesus’ name, we pray. Amen.

December 21st 2025 – Who You Are in Christ

Scripture Reading:

“Peter, an apostle of Jesus Christ, to God’s elect, strangers in the world, scattered throughout Pontus, Galatia, Cappadocia, Asia and Bithynia, who have been chosen according to the foreknowledge of God the Father, through the sanctifying work of the Spirit, for obedience to Jesus Christ and sprinkling by his blood: Grace and peace be yours in abundance.” (1 Peter 1:1-7)

Reflection:

In the midst of trials and uncertainties, it’s essential to remember who we are in Christ. Peter addresses believers as “God’s elect,” reminding us that we are chosen by God, not due to our merit but because of His grace. This identity is foundational to our faith and understanding of our place in the world.

Being “born again to a living hope” through the resurrection of Jesus is a profound truth. It signifies that our past does not define us; instead, we are renewed and restored. This living hope is not a mere wish but a confident expectation that God is working all things for our good (Romans 8:28).

Trust in His Promises:

When life feels overwhelming, trust in God’s promises. The trials we face are temporary and serve a purpose. Peter reminds us that these challenges refine our faith, much like gold is refined by fire. Each struggle is an opportunity to lean into God, to deepen our trust, and to find strength in Him.

Finding Strength in Him:

In moments of weakness, remember that God’s strength is made perfect. He calls us to cast our burdens upon Him (1 Peter 5:7). Instead of striving in our own power, let us embrace dependence on His grace. In our weakness, His love and support become our greatest strengths.

Sharing His Love:

As recipients of God’s love, we are called to share it with others. Let your life be a reflection of His grace and peace. In a world that often feels divided and chaotic, be the hands and feet of Jesus, extending love, kindness, and support to those around you.

Remember, you are deeply loved, secure, and chosen by God. Embrace your identity in Christ and let it transform your life and the lives of those around you. You are not alone; His presence is with you, always guiding and sustaining you.

“In Christ, I am chosen and beloved, finding strength in every trial as I reflect His hope and love to the world around me.”

Prayer:

Heavenly Father, thank You for the incredible gift of being chosen and loved by You. I am grateful for the hope I have through the resurrection of Jesus, which transforms my life and fills me with courage. In moments of uncertainty and struggle, help me to remember my true identity as Your beloved child.

Strengthen my faith when I feel weak, and teach me to lean on Your promises. May I find comfort in knowing that each trial I face is an opportunity for growth and deeper trust in You.

Guide me to reflect Your love in my actions and words, so that I may be a light to those around me. Help me to share Your grace and peace with a world that desperately needs it. Let Your love flow through me, bringing hope and healing to others. Thank You for Your unwavering presence in my life. In Jesus’ name, I pray. Amen.

December 19th 2025 – Embracing Truth, not Lies

Scripture Reading:

“Woe to those who devise iniquity and work out evil on their beds! At the break of dawn, they practice it, for it is in their power. They covet fields and seize them by violence, as well as houses, and take them. They oppress a person and their home, a person and their inheritance.” (Micah 1:1-2)

Reflection:

In this verse, we see a reflection of those in power exploiting the vulnerable, a reality that feels all too familiar in our current landscape. Very recent, we witnessed leaders who, through lies and manipulation, sought to advance their own agendas at the expense of our nation’s well-being. They wielded their political clout like a weapon, disregarding the truth and the people they were called to serve. Such actions not only undermine trust but also threaten the very fabric of our society.

Are you a leader in government, business, or even within your community? Do you find yourself leveraging the system to benefit yourself? It’s essential to examine our hearts: do we sometimes exploit our relationships with family, friends, or colleagues for personal gain? In a world where manipulation can often seem like a shortcut to success, we must remember that exploiting others is never justifiable. God does not bless actions rooted in deception and selfishness.

“No temptation has overtaken you except such as is common to man; but God is faithful, who will not allow you to be tempted beyond what you are able, but with the temptation will also make the way of escape, that you may be able to bear it.” (1 Corinthians 10:13)

Even when it feels as though bending the truth is the only way forward, God provides an escape. Taking responsibility for our actions is vital to living as a true disciple. God honors our willingness to own our mistakes, even in challenging circumstances. It’s a call to live authentically and to model integrity, even when it’s inconvenient or uncomfortable.

Reflect on the leaders who used lies and power to nearly bring our nation to its knees. Their actions remind us of the urgent need for integrity and truthfulness in leadership. We must ask ourselves: How far will we follow Jesus in our relationships and responsibilities? Is our commitment only strong when it’s easy, or are we also willing to uphold our values when it becomes painful or costly? Will we choose personal gain, or will we lay down our lives for the sake of the Gospel, standing firmly for truth and justice?

“One characteristic of a Godly leader is to do what is Biblical, even when it leads to personal hardship.”

Prayer:

Heavenly Father, thank You for Your unwavering love and the transformative work You continue to do in my life. I am grateful for Your grace and mercy, which sustain me daily. You have called me to live as a disciple, and I choose to honor You by embodying the model You have set before me.

Lord, as we navigate a world rife with deception and turmoil, I ask for Your guidance and strength. Grant me the courage to uphold Your Truth in every situation, even when it seems difficult. Help me to inspire others through my actions and words, reflecting Your love and integrity in all my relationships.

I lift up our country and the free world to You. In a time where lies and manipulation threaten our unity and values, I pray that we collectively turn our hearts toward You. May our leaders seek Your wisdom and guidance in their decisions, prioritizing truth and justice over personal gain. Inspire a movement of repentance and humility among us, drawing us closer to Your will.

Lord, we are in desperate need of revival. I pray that our nation and the world recognize their need for You. May hearts soften, and may eyes be opened to the truth of the Gospel. Let us seek Your face earnestly, turning away from the paths of deception that lead to destruction.

Help us to be a light in the darkness, standing firm in our faith and proclaiming Your name boldly. Empower us to lay down our lives for the sake of the Gospel, demonstrating Your love to those around us. May we find strength in unity, working together to promote justice and mercy in a world that desperately needs both.

In these challenging times, remind us that our hope lies in You alone. May we trust in Your promises and lean on Your understanding, knowing that You provide a way forward even when the path seems unclear.

Thank You, Lord, for hearing my prayer. May Your will be done in our lives, our country, and the world. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

December 11th 2025 – Mender of Broken Hearts

Scripture Reading:

“He heals the brokenhearted and binds up their wounds.” (Psalm 147:3)

Reflection:
In moments of deep sorrow, when words fail us, our tears speak the language of our hearts. These tears are sacred expressions of our pain, longing, and hope. God knows our hearts intimately and understands the depths of our suffering. He has been there Himself, experiencing the fullness of human emotion and the weight of grief.

Broken hearts come in many forms: shattered dreams, unfulfilled expectations, and painful separations from friends or family. Whether it’s the ache of a lost job, the sting of betrayal, or the burden of loneliness, our hearts can feel heavy and fragmented. Additionally, there may be times when physical ailments can lead to broken hearts, as chronic illness, injury, or pain can weigh heavily on our emotional well-being. In these dark moments, we must remember the promise of our Heavenly Father: He is close to the broken-hearted.

As you go through your day, take a moment to acknowledge your feelings. Let your tears flow, knowing that God is there to collect each one. Trust that He is at work, healing and restoring your heart, even when the path seems uncertain. Remember, your pain is not in vain; it’s a step on the journey toward wholeness, guided by His loving hand. Consider reaching out to someone who may also be hurting, sharing your experiences, and offering support—the beauty of community can often mend what feels irreparable. In both emotional and physical struggles, let us lean on God, who is our ultimate healer.

“Even in our deepest sorrow, may we find the strength to believe that brokenness can be the path to greater wholeness.”

Prayer:
Heavenly Father, I come before You with a heart heavy with sorrow. I stand firm on Your promise that You are close to the broken-hearted. I pray for all who are experiencing the pain of broken relationships—those yearning for their children, spouses grappling with separation, friends who feel betrayed, and those mourning the loss of loved ones.

Lord, our hearts take the blows of disappointment in various forms. We feel utterly crushed when our hopes and dreams shatter, whether from loss, unmet expectations, or the weight of loneliness. For those suffering from physical ailments that compound their emotional pain, I ask for Your healing touch. Help them to find strength in You, even as they navigate the challenges of their bodies.

We cannot fix these wounds ourselves, but we trust in Your healing power. Please mend our broken hearts. Recover the pieces that have been lost or held captive, and bring them back to us. Restore us miraculously, so that we may find wholeness again.

Thank You for being the Mender of broken hearts. I ask for this miracle in Jesus’ name, Amen.

November 20th 2025 – Unforsaken

Scripture Reading:

“My God, My God, why have You forsaken Me?” (Matthew 27:46)

Reflection:

These poignant words were uttered by Jesus from the cross, yet they echo back to David during his own times of deep anguish.

Jesus was forsaken so that we would never have to face forsakenness ourselves. God the Father turned away from His Son when He bore our sins on the cross.

David expressed in Psalm 22:4-6, “Our fathers trusted You, and You delivered them; they cried out to You and were saved; in You they trusted and were not disappointed.” We can picture David lamenting, “I am a worm and not a man, scorned by mankind and despised by the people.” He certainly experienced deep suffering. Yet, our Lord endured an even greater anguish. Imagine the Good Shepherd declaring, “I am a worm.” He took on this lowly state for our sake so that we could be welcomed as children of God.

We cannot be forsaken because our Savior was forsaken in our stead. His promise assures us that He will never leave or abandon us. His abiding presence is with us always. Furthermore, His purpose is to work all things together for good for those who love Him.

What is that purpose? To shape us into the likeness of His Son. David’s life serves as a beautiful foreshadowing of Christ, and his suffering was part of that process. Amidst your trials, remember: God will not forsake you.

In difficult times, your feelings and circumstances may lead you to believe that God has abandoned you. Yet, the Bible reassures us that He will never forsake His own. The next time you feel alone, remind yourself that God is faithful to His Word and is working to mold you into the image of His Son, Jesus Christ.

“In the depths of despair, remember that you are never forsaken; for in Christ’s suffering, we find our assurance of hope and the promise of His abiding presence.”

Prayer:

Heavenly Father, Thank You for Your unfailing presence in my life. I am grateful that You are always with me, even when I forget to call on You for help. You are the one true God, and I draw strength from knowing I can rely on You in every circumstance.

Lord, I acknowledge that there are times when my faith wavers and I feel overwhelmed by my struggles. In those moments of doubt, remind me of Your faithfulness and love. Help me to trust in Your promises, even when the path ahead seems unclear.

Please continue to draw me closer to You, filling my heart with peace that surpasses all understanding. Strengthen me with Your Holy Word, so that I may find guidance and comfort in Your truth. Teach me to lean on You in times of trial, and to rest in the assurance that You are working all things together for my good.

As I walk through life’s challenges, let my faith shine as a testament to Your grace. Help me to reflect Your love to those around me, sharing the hope I have in You. I love You, Lord, and I commit my life into Your hands. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

November 19th 2025 – Navigating Toxic Relationships with Grace

Scripture Reading:
“Walk with the wise and become wise, for a companion of fools suffers harm.” (Proverbs 13:20)

“Do not be misled: ‘Bad company corrupts good character.'” (1 Corinthians 15:33)

Reflection:
Toxic relationships can be particularly challenging, as they often drain our emotional and spiritual energy. These relationships can manifest in various forms—whether through manipulation, criticism, or constant negativity. As followers of Christ, we are called to love everyone, but this does not mean we must endure harmful behavior or allow ourselves to be taken advantage of.

Jesus provides a profound model for how to navigate difficult relationships. He embraced those who were marginalized and treated poorly by society, extending grace and compassion to all. However, He also recognized the importance of boundaries. In Matthew 10:14, He instructs His disciples to shake the dust off their feet when a town rejects them. This act symbolizes the need to let go of relationships, environments, or situations that do not contribute positively to our spiritual growth or well-being.

Understanding Toxicity:
It’s essential to understand that not all difficult relationships are toxic. Some may require patience, forgiveness, and compassion as we seek to understand the other person. However, toxic relationships consistently leave us feeling drained, anxious, or unworthy. They may involve repeated patterns of hurtful behavior, manipulation, or a lack of respect for our boundaries.

In these situations, we must seek wisdom from God. James 1:5 reminds us, “If any of you lacks wisdom, you should ask God, who gives generously to all without finding fault, and it will be given to you.” Pray for clarity and discernment to see the truth of your relationships.

Action Steps:

  1. Identify and Reflect: Take time to identify one relationship in your life that feels toxic. Reflect on how it affects your emotional and spiritual well-being. Consider journaling your thoughts and feelings about this relationship.
  2. Establish Boundaries: Pray for guidance on how to set boundaries with this person. Boundaries can be physical, emotional, or even spiritual. They are not about shutting people out but about protecting your well-being and creating a healthier dynamic.
  3. Communicate Openly: If appropriate, consider having a candid conversation with the person involved. Express your feelings honestly but kindly. Use “I” statements to communicate how their behavior impacts you, rather than assigning blame.
  4. Seek Support: Surround yourself with a supportive community. Engage with friends, family, or a church group that encourages you in your faith. Discuss your experiences with them, and seek their wisdom and prayers.
  5. Focus on Positive Relationships: Make an intentional effort to invest in relationships that are life-giving and affirming. Spend time with those who inspire you, challenge you to grow, and reflect the love of Christ.

Closing Thought:
Dealing with toxic people is not about casting judgment but about seeking a life that aligns with God’s truth and love. By choosing wisely whom we associate with, we open ourselves to the blessings of healthy relationships that reflect God’s love. Remember that setting boundaries is a form of self-care and an essential step in maintaining your spiritual health. Trust that God will guide you in this process, leading you to relationships that uplift and inspire you in your journey of faith.

Prayer:
Heavenly Father, grant me the wisdom to recognize toxic relationships in my life. Help me to respond with grace and love while also protecting my heart and spirit. Teach me to set healthy boundaries, knowing that my worth is found in You, not in the approval of others. Guide me to surround myself with those who uplift me in faith and encourage my spiritual journey. May I reflect Your love and light, even in difficult situations. In Jesua’ name, Amen.

November 17th 2025 – Speak Life Into Others

Scripture Reading:

“Then his wife said to him, ‘Do you still hold fast to your integrity? Curse God and die!'” (Job 2:9)

Reflection:

In the Book of Job, we are introduced to a man of remarkable character—Job, a blessed and righteous man living in the land of Uz. The Lord praises Job, which prompts Satan to challenge his integrity, suggesting that Job serves God only because of the protection he receives. Through immense suffering, Satan aims to break Job’s faith, inflicting pain and grief upon him.

We might speculate that Satan spared Job’s wife because of her carnal nature. However, we aren’t told much about her faith prior to this moment. Perhaps she had a strong relationship with the Lord before they lost their wealth, home, and children. As she witnesses her husband’s torment, her desperate plea to “curse God and die” may reflect her own despair, a moment of giving up hope.

This scenario serves as a reminder that any of us can find ourselves in similar situations. During tough times, it’s all too easy to speak negatively or lose sight of faith. We must be vigilant, avoiding words that contradict God’s truth, especially when we’re struggling. Instead, let us be the ones who speak life, truth, and love. God can use us to bring healing to those who are hurting and empower us to be witnesses for His glory, even in our own trials.

“In the midst of our trials, let us choose to speak life, for our words have the power to heal, uplift, and reflect the love of God.”

Prayer:

Heavenly Father, thank You for empowering us through Your Spirit to speak life and blessings, even during hard times. We are grateful for Your unwavering presence in our lives, guiding us through moments of despair and uncertainty. Help us to be vessels of Your love, showing compassion and understanding to those who are hurting around us.

Grant us the wisdom to choose our words carefully, especially when we ourselves are in pain. May we always remember that our words have the power to uplift or discourage, and let us strive to be a source of encouragement. We pray for those in our lives who are facing difficult situations—bring them comfort, strength, and hope. Surround them with people who can support and inspire them in their darkest hours.

Lord, help us to remain steadfast in our faith, even when trials come our way. May our lives reflect Your grace and truth, so that we may shine Your light in a world that so desperately needs it. Use us as instruments of Your peace and love, empowering us to be a blessing in all our relationships. In Jesus’ name, we pray, Amen.

Invitation:

If you haven’t yet invited Jesus into your heart, this moment can change everything. It’s never too late to seek His love, grace, and forgiveness. November 15th 2025 – Trust God with Everything

Scripture Reading:

“Casting all your care upon Him, for He cares for you.” (1 Peter 5:7)

Reflection:

It’s easy to declare, “I trust you, Lord” when life flows smoothly, when bills are paid on time, and when you receive a salary increase. But what happens when God calls you to step away from everything familiar? When He asks you to leave behind the job that supports you, or maybe your health is stripped away, and everything is difficult to accomplish? Will you still trust Him?

Many of us have faced those moments of uncertainty. God may redirect your path into the unknown, leaving you questioning what comes next. In those times, all you may have is His word—a promise, an instruction, or a vision.

You are not alone in this struggle. Here are four truths to remember when you find it hard to understand God’s plan:

  1. Consider the Source

“I am Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the end, the first and the last.” (Revelation 22:13)

Only God can claim such authority. He knows the past, present, and future, and His understanding far surpasses our own. When you struggle to comprehend His workings in your life, ask yourself: Am I trusting in God’s wisdom or relying on my limited understanding?

Human guidance can be flawed; we can make mistakes and fail to keep our promises. But God is infallible. He will never mislead you, and His instructions are rooted in perfect love. No matter how daunting your situation may seem, remember that the Creator of the universe is on your side. If He is with you, who can stand against you? Focus on obedience, and rest assured that He will provide.

  1. Trust the Lord

“Trust in the LORD with all your heart; and lean not unto your own understanding.” (Proverbs 3:5)

True trust brings peace, allowing you to rest in the knowledge that God is in control, even when your life feels chaotic. Trusting Him means choosing faith over fear, logic, or panic. It doesn’t shield you from uncomfortable situations, but it draws you closer to His presence and guidance.

  1. Be Obedient

The Bible tells us that “obedience is better than sacrifice” (1 Samuel 15:22). God values your willingness to follow Him above all else. Consider Abraham, who left the familiar for the unknown, following God’s call without knowing his destination. Instead of questioning God, he chose to trust and obey. We, too, must learn to follow His lead, even when we can’t see the full picture.

  1. Have Faith in the Lord

“It was by faith that Abraham obeyed when God called him to leave home and go to another land that God would give him as his inheritance. He went without knowing where he was going.” (Hebrews 11:8)

God often reveals His plans piece by piece, asking us to trust Him as we take each step in faith. This process deepens your reliance on Him and strengthens your faith. You may not have all the answers right now, but as you step out in faith, God will provide clarity.

I may not know your specific circumstances, but I encourage you to trust God, even in the midst of confusion. Remember, He will reveal the pieces of your puzzle as you choose to walk in faith and obedience.

“Trusting God means surrendering your understanding and embracing His plan, even when the path ahead is shrouded in uncertainty. In every season of life, let faith be your anchor and obedience your guide.”

Prayer:

Heavenly Father, I ask that You instill in me a spirit of obedience, guiding me to follow Your instructions. Help me to walk by faith, not by sight. Though I may not always grasp what You are doing in my life, I choose to trust You. In this season, fill me with Your joy, peace, and rest. Grant me the strength to endure whatever comes my way. Thank You for Your clarity, guidance, provision, and strength. I pray for these things in Jesus’ name, Amen.

November 9th 2025 – God’s Family

Scripture Reading:

“But I make known to you, brethren, that the gospel which was preached by me is not according to man.” (Galatians 1:11)

Reflection:

The Gospel transforms everything. It changes us individually and connects us with other believers. The differences that once divided us fade away through the love of Christ. This is why gathering together in church and in our daily lives is so essential. As we cultivate unity among ourselves, we enrich our own lives and create a compelling witness for our community.

But where does this unity originate? We share common beliefs and a similar value system centered on loving God and loving people. We affirm that God is the creator of all things. Although some may perceive differences in skin color, styles of dress, or occupations, these do not define our unity. Even the presence of tattoos or personal appearances should not divide us. Regardless of our backgrounds or appearances, we are called to be “one body.” As the body of Christ, we are a family that strives to love unconditionally, embracing our differences.

“When we meet together, we encourage each other with acts of love and fellowship..”

Prayer:

Heavenly Father, thank You for the blessing of the church and for the community of brothers and sisters in Christ You have placed in my life. Acknowledge my imperfections, and grant me the grace to love others equally and to encourage them, regardless of our differences. In You, the church stands united; help me to remember this truth always. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
