November 7th 2026 – Indescribable

Scripture Reference:

“My thoughts are not your thoughts, and your ways are not my ways,” says the Lord. “As the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways and my thoughts than your thoughts.” (Isaiah 55:8–9)

Reflection:

Sometimes faith leaves us reaching for words. Jesus is more than a figure from history or a wise teacher. He is God’s Son, the Creator, and the One who saves us. His love is bigger than we can fully understand—and still, He welcomes us close.

Look around at the world: mountains, oceans, a flower opening petal by petal. Creation gives us a glimpse of God’s glory. And yet, the love Jesus showed us goes even deeper. He gave His life so we could be made right with God. It’s hard to put a gift like that into words.

When you pray, you don’t have to say everything perfectly. You don’t need to understand every mystery before you can worship. Sometimes the most honest response is simply to pause, remember who Jesus is, and let yourself be amazed.

Take a quiet moment today. What about Jesus fills you with wonder? Write it down, even if it’s only a few words. Your worship doesn’t have to be polished to be real.

“Jesus is God’s indescribable gift of love and grace—beyond our understanding, yet always inviting us closer.“

Prayer:

Heavenly Father, thank You for the gift of Your Son, Jesus. Thank You for loving me so deeply that You made a way for me to be close to You. When I look at the world around me, help me notice the beauty and wonder that point to Your greatness.

Jesus, thank You for giving Your life for me and carrying the weight of my sin and shame. Help me understand more fully the depth of Your love, and teach me to follow You with trust, humility, and courage. When life feels confusing or difficult, remind me that Your wisdom is greater than mine and that I can bring every question, worry, and hope to You.

Give me quiet moments to listen, reflect, and rest in Your presence. When I don’t know what to say, receive the gratitude and worship in my heart. Let Your grace shape the way I treat others, and help me share Your kindness with the people around me.

May my life reflect my love for You—not only in what I say, but in the choices I make each day. Keep my heart open to Your guidance and my spirit filled with wonder at who You are and all You have done. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
