“But those who hope in the Lord will renew their strength. They will soar on wings like eagles; they will run and not grow weary, they will walk and not be faint.” (Isaiah 40:31)

In our lives, we often face moments that feel overwhelming and heavy. The weight of our struggles can make us feel as though we are sinking into darkness, lost and alone. Yet, in these very moments, there is a promise that resonates through the ages—the promise of resurrection, renewal, and rebirth.

Scriptural Seeds latest worship song “Rise Again” reminds us that even when we stumble, we possess the divine ability to rise. This isn’t just a call to persevere; it’s an invitation to experience the transformative power of God’s love. When we lean into our faith, we discover that hope is not a fleeting feeling but a steadfast anchor that holds us firm through any storm.

Consider the story of the prodigal son. After wandering far and squandering his inheritance, he found himself in despair. But it was in his brokenness that he recognized his need for his father’s love. When he returned, he was met not with judgment but with open arms—a beautiful reminder that no matter how far we stray, God is always ready to welcome us back home.

Take a moment today to reflect on areas in your life where you feel burdened or defeated. Write down a prayer or a commitment to God, asking for the strength to rise again. Share your struggles with a trusted friend or a mentor, allowing their support to help lift you back to hope.

In the journey of life, remember that “Rise Again” is more than a song; it’s a declaration of faith—the assurance that, through God, we can rise from our struggles and embrace the new beginnings He has in store for us. Let us hold onto this truth and encourage one another to soar high on the wings of hope and love.

Prayer:

Dear Lord, in moments of darkness and despair, help me to remember that I can rise again through Your grace. Strengthen my heart, renew my spirit, and guide me back to the light of Your love. May I always hold onto hope and trust in Your promises, knowing that every setback is an opportunity for a comeback. Thank You for being my refuge and strength. In Jesus’ name, I pray, Amen.

April 1st 2025 – Strength in Weakness

“Be alert and of sober mind. Your enemy the devil prowls around like a roaring lion looking for someone to devour. Resist him, standing firm in the faith…” (1 Peter 5:8-9)


In our moments of weakness, when we feel vulnerable and overwhelmed, it’s easy to forget that we are not alone. Satan often takes advantage of these times, lurking in the shadows of our minds, whispering doubts and fears. He preys on our insecurities, magnifying our worries and pushing us toward despair. How often have we found ourselves spiraling into overthinking, feeling isolated and defeated?

“For we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this age, against spiritual hosts of wickedness in the heavenly places.” (Ephesians 6:12)

Just like a lion stalking its prey, the enemy is cunning and strategic. He knows when we are tired, stressed, or grieving, and he uses these moments to sow seeds of confusion and fear. However, we must remember that our struggles do not define us; they are opportunities for God to showcase His strength in our weakness.

Turning It Around:

  1. Acknowledge Your Weakness: It’s essential to recognize when you’re feeling weak or vulnerable. Instead of allowing those feelings to consume you, bring them before the Lord. In 2 Corinthians 12:9, we learn, “My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness.” When we admit our vulnerabilities, we open the door for God’s grace to enter.
  2. Pray and Seek God’s Guidance: When overthinking takes hold, turn to prayer. Philippians 4:6-7 encourages us to not be anxious but to present our requests to God. In doing so, we exchange our worries for His peace, which transcends all understanding. Prayer is a powerful tool that connects us with God and helps to clarify our thoughts.
  3. Read Scripture: God’s Word is a source of strength and encouragement. When you feel weak, immerse yourself in passages that remind you of His promises. Verses like Isaiah 40:31 remind us that those who hope in the Lord will renew their strength. Let the truth of Scripture combat the lies that the enemy tries to plant in your mind.
  4. Surround Yourself with Support: Engage with a community of believers who can uplift and pray for you. Sometimes, just sharing your struggles with a trusted friend can dispel the darkness and bring clarity. Ecclesiastes 4:9-10 tells us that two are better than one, for they have a good return for their labor.
  5. Focus on Gratitude: Shift your perspective by recalling the blessings in your life. Gratitude can chase away the shadows of doubt and fear. Write down things you are thankful for, and let that list remind you of God’s faithfulness and provision.

Remember, the enemy may come when you are weakest, but God’s strength is made perfect in those moments. Lean on Him, for He is your ever-present help in times of trouble. Seek Him, and you will find peace and renewal.

Prayer:
Heavenly Father, thank You for being my refuge and strength in times of trouble. Help me to recognize when I am feeling weak and to turn my heart towards You. May Your Word be a lamp to my feet, guiding me away from the traps of the enemy. Strengthen my faith, and help me to stand firm against doubt and fear. I trust in Your promises and seek Your presence in every moment of my life. In Jeaus’ name, Amen.

March 31st 2025 – The Depth of a Father’s Love

“See what great love the Father has lavished on us, that we should be called children of God!” (1 John 3:1)

In our lives, the love of a father can be a powerful and transformative experience. Many of us have felt the warmth of a father’s embrace, the strength of his guidance, and the unwavering support in times of need. A father’s love often mirrors the protective, nurturing, and encouraging nature that we all long for.

As we consider the love of an earthly father, it is important to recognize that this love, no matter how deep and genuine, is but a shadow of the love our Heavenly Father has for us. God’s love is unconditional, boundless, and perfect—qualities that can sometimes be difficult to grasp.

Earthly fathers may falter; they may struggle with their own imperfections, but our Heavenly Father is perfect in every way. He knows us intimately, understands our weaknesses, and loves us fiercely despite our flaws. His love is not based on our performance, but on His character.

Take a moment to reflect on the love of your father or father figure. What lessons did you learn from him? Now, think about how those lessons can help you understand the greater love of your Heavenly Father. Write down any thoughts or feelings that come to mind as you meditate on this profound truth.


“God is love.” (1 John 4:8) When we accept this truth, we begin to understand that the love we experience on earth is merely a glimpse of the eternal and perfect love that awaits us in our relationship with God. Let this love transform you and inspire you to share it with others.

Prayer:
Heavenly Father, thank You for Your incredible love. Help us to understand the depth of that love and to reflect it in our own lives. Teach us to trust in Your goodness and to seek Your guidance as we navigate our relationships and responsibilities. May we always remember that we are cherished as Your children, and may that knowledge bring us comfort, strength, and peace.

Lord, we ask that You fill our hearts with compassion and grace, so we may extend Your love to those around us. Help us to be patient and forgiving, just as You are with us. Guide us to create a nurturing environment where love can flourish, and may our actions reflect Your light in this world.

Thank You for always being there for us, for listening to our prayers, and for holding us close in times of need. May we continually seek to grow in our relationship with You, finding our identity and purpose in Your love. In Jesus’ name, we pray, Amen.

March 30th 2025 – Exodus from Slavery and Sin

“Then the king of Egypt made Jehoahaz’s brother Eliakim king over Judah and Jerusalem, and changed his name to Jehoiakim. And Necho took Jehoahaz his brother and carried him off to Egypt.” (2 Chronicles 36:4)

In the biblical narrative, Egypt often symbolizes sin and spiritual bondage. While it was a land of material wealth and power, for Israel, it represented captivity and oppression. Today, we find ourselves in a world reminiscent of Egypt—a place where the allure of success can lead us into bondage. The relentless pursuit of status, often referred to as the “rat race” or “keeping up with the Joneses,” ultimately leaves us unfulfilled. It’s crucial to recognize that this path leads nowhere good; it’s a descent toward emptiness.

“Let this mind be in you which was also in Christ Jesus.” (Philippians 2:5)

Rather than allowing the world’s values to shape our lives, we must surrender control to God. We should immerse ourselves in His Word, allowing it to penetrate our hearts and minds, transforming us from the inside out. Don’t be deceived by the temporary “riches” that the world offers; instead, seek and experience the everlasting wealth found in a relationship with God.

“Change the way you think, and you change the way you live.”

Prayer:
Heavenly Father, open my eyes to see and my heart to embrace Your Word. Help me break free from worldly thinking and cultivate a mindset aligned with Christ. May today be the day I choose to live in obedience to You. Assist me in quieting the noise around me, just as Jesus often did, so I can hear Your voice clearly. I trust in Your goodness and express my gratitude for all You are doing in my life. In Jesus’ precious name, Amen.

March 29th 2025 – Hope Amidst the Chaos

“There will be great earthquakes, famines, and pestilences in various places, and fearful events and great signs from heaven.” (Luke 21:11)

In this passage, Jesus speaks about the signs of the times that will precede His return. He acknowledges the reality of fear and uncertainty that accompanies such events. Earthquakes, famines, and pestilences are not merely historical references but reminders of the brokenness in our world. As we witness these occurrences, it’s easy to be overwhelmed by anxiety and despair. However, Jesus encourages us to look beyond the chaos to the hope that lies in Him.

In the midst of turmoil, we are reminded that God is sovereign. Every natural disaster, every sickness, and every fearful event is under His control. Rather than succumbing to fear, we can choose to trust in God’s promises. He is our refuge and strength, an ever-present help in trouble (Psalm 46:1). These signs serve to awaken us, urging us to rely on Him and to share His love with others.

Take a moment to reflect on current events and the fears they may invoke in your heart. How can you respond with faith and hope instead of fear? Consider reaching out to a friend or family member who may also be struggling and offer them encouragement through God’s Word.

“God’s sovereignty remains our source of hope and strength. By focusing on His promises, we can transform our fear into faith and become beacons of His love to those around us.”

Prayer:

Heavenly Father, thank You for being our anchor in the storm. Help us to remember that even in the face of calamity, You are in control. Grant us the strength to endure and the courage to share Your love and hope with those around us. May we be instruments of Your peace in a world filled with fear. In Jesus’ name, we pray. Amen.

March 28th 2025 – Come Home to Grace

“But while he was still a long way off, his father saw him and was filled with compassion for him; he ran to his son, threw his arms around him and kissed him.” (Luke 15:20)

In the parable of the Prodigal Son, we see a beautiful picture of grace. The younger son, having squandered his inheritance on reckless living, finds himself alone and destitute. Yet, in his moment of desperation, he remembers his father’s house—a place where there is love, acceptance, and provision.

How often do we stray from the path God has laid out for us? Life’s temptations can lead us far from home, leaving us feeling lost and unworthy. We may think that we’ve gone too far, that our mistakes have disqualified us from grace. But the good news is that God’s grace is greater than our failures.

As the son made his way back, his father, who had been waiting and watching, didn’t stand with arms crossed, filled with anger or disappointment. Instead, he ran to his son, embracing him with love and forgiveness. This is the heart of our Heavenly Father—always ready to receive us with open arms, no matter how far we’ve wandered.

Take a moment to reflect on your own journey. Are there areas in your life where you feel distant from God? Picture Him waiting for you, ready to welcome you back. Write down any thoughts or feelings that come to mind, and consider how you can take steps to come back to Him. Remember, it’s never too late to come home to grace.

“In every season of life, God’s grace is a constant. No matter our past, we can always start anew. Let us come home to grace, where love reigns, and our hearts find true rest.”

Prayer:

Heavenly Father, thank You for the gift of grace that calls us home. Help us to remember that no matter how far we stray, we can always return to You. May we find solace in Your embrace and reassurance in Your love. Teach us to extend that same grace to others, reflecting Your heart in our interactions. Thank You for always waiting for us with open arms. In Jesus’ name, we pray, Amen.

March 27th 2025 – Sharing Jesus in a Lost and Hateful World

“Did I commit sin in humbling myself that you might be exalted, because I preached the gospel of God to you free of charge?” (2 Corinthians 11:7)

Imagine having the apostle Paul as your pastor. He’s often viewed as the “ideal pastor,” beloved by all, yet 2 Corinthians 11 reveals a different reality. In this poignant chapter, Paul finds himself defending his ministry against those within the church who question his motives.

Some in the Corinthian church accused Paul of seeking monetary gain, despite his choice to preach without charge. Others regarded him as a lesser teacher simply because he didn’t solicit financial support. Ultimately, Paul faced an uphill battle. Why did he refrain from accepting funds? Because the congregation projected an unwillingness to give, portraying themselves as unable or undeserving of contributing. They missed a transformative opportunity to support Paul’s ministry and share in its blessings due to their selfishness. Yet, Paul continued to love them deeply, striving to speak the Truth in love, hoping they would eventually recognize it.

Our own lives mirror this experience. There are moments when we share the Truth in love, and it may fall on deaf ears. But even when others resist, we must persist in love, allowing the Lord to use our gentle witness to create lasting change in their lives.

“Some people won’t hear; some won’t recognize the sacrifice and gift; some may slander you while others may wish to harm you. Yet, don’t stop trying, for some will hear and be transformed.”

Prayer:

Heavenly Father, I find myself struggling with certain individuals in my life. No matter how much love I extend, they leave me questioning why. Help me to be a true reflection of Your love to them. Grant me opportunities to share the truth with grace, remaining sensitive and patient as Your Holy Spirit works. If I am part of the challenge, please make me aware, so I can bring it to You. Thank You for allowing me to serve in this ministry without seeking compensation or donations. I am grateful to support others with what I’ve earned through hard work. Lord, open their eyes to see that blessings are gifts, not entitlements. Thank You for sustaining me through trials when I face negativity, judgment, or attacks for sharing Your truth in love. Please continue to bless me with a job that fulfills me. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

March 26th 2025 – Words Have Power

“I am the rose of Sharon, And the lily of the valleys.” (Song of Solomon 2:1)

What transforms a person’s perception of themselves? Could it truly be as simple as a few kind words? This was certainly the case for Solomon and his beloved. In the opening chapter of Song of Solomon, we find the Shulamite woman feeling downcast about her appearance, declaring, “Do not look at me, because I am dark, because the sun has tanned me.” Her worries stem from her hard work in the vineyards under the relentless sun, leaving her feeling less than beautiful. Yet, by chapter two, she refers to herself as a rose of Sharon—an image of beauty and grace. This remarkable shift in self-view is a direct result of the loving words and encouragement shared by Solomon.

It’s a powerful reminder of what God’s Word teaches us about the impact of our speech, as noted in the book of James:

“In the same way, the tongue is a small thing that makes grand speeches. But a tiny spark can set a great forest on fire.” (James 3:5)

The potential of our words is extraordinary. Too often, we forget their weight and inadvertently use them to wound rather than heal. God calls us to walk in grace, humility, and love. We should actively seek opportunities to uplift one another through our words—expressing gratitude, thanksgiving, and kindness. Husbands, speak words of love to your wives. Wives, offer encouragement and support to your husbands. In this cycle of nurturing words, you will cultivate a thriving, healthy relationship. Remember, our words hold immense power; let’s choose to wield them wisely.

“Our words are powerful tools that can either build people up or tear them down.”

Prayer:

Heavenly Father, thank You for the gift of relationships. Fill me with Your Spirit so I can speak words of love and encouragement to those around me—my spouse, children, and friends. Grant me the patience to love even when the love is not reciprocated, and the wisdom to know when to speak and when to remain silent. May my words bring healing and glorify You. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

March 25th 2025 – Tempted? God Can Help

“And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from the evil one.” (Matthew 6:13)

It’s striking how quickly we can judge the actions of others while justifying our own questionable behaviors. The nature of temptation is that it draws us in, often appealing to our desires.

In the prayer Jesus taught us, we ask, “Lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from the evil one” (Matthew 6:13). This plea is a request for divine guidance, helping us stay within God’s will and away from unnecessary temptation. Essentially, we are saying, “Lord, protect us from being tempted beyond our ability to resist.”

And indeed, He will. The Bible reassures us: “God is faithful; he will not let you be tempted beyond what you can bear. But when you are tempted, he will also provide a way out so that you can endure it” (1 Corinthians 10:13).

However, we often encounter those ambiguous situations where we question if something is appropriate for a Christian. Here’s a practical approach to navigate these gray areas:

  1. Pray first: Bring your concerns into the light of God’s presence. If you can’t pray over your actions and honestly say “hallowed be Your name,” then it’s best to refrain from doing them.
  2. Consider the perspective of others: Ask yourself, “How would it look if someone else, particularly another Christian, were doing this?” Would it seem inappropriate? Does it carry what the Bible refers to as the appearance of evil? If so, it’s wise to avoid it.
  3. Seek strength against temptation: While temptation is an inevitable part of life, you can pray, “Lord, help me not to place myself in harm’s way unnecessarily.”

You can ask God to guard your eyes, ears, mouth, hands, and feet—everything that influences what you see, hear, say, and do.

“The adversary knows precisely how to tailor temptation to our weaknesses!”

Prayer:

Heavenly Father, thank You for Your immense love. I acknowledge my wrongdoings and the sins I’ve committed against You. Please forgive me and fill me with Your Spirit so that I can recognize and resist temptation. Help me resist the urge to justify sin in my life. When I find myself in tempting situations, open my eyes to the escape route You provide. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

March 24th 2025 – In the World but not of this World

“To the pilgrims of the Dispersion in Pontus, Galatia, Cappadocia, Asia, and Bithynia,” (1 Peter 1:1)

When we hear the word “aliens,” our minds might drift to whimsical images of UFOs and extraterrestrial beings. While those notions may belong to the realm of fiction, the true essence of being an “alien” resonates deeply with our spiritual journey. In 1 Peter 1, the apostle Peter refers to the early church as “pilgrims,” a term that can also mean “foreigners” or “aliens.”

This designation serves as a powerful reminder that we are not permanent residents of this world. Peter emphasizes a profound truth for all believers: our true citizenship lies beyond this earthly realm. When we accept Jesus as our Savior and experience the new birth, we are transformed into a new creation. Our mindset shifts as we begin to live with a heavenly perspective. Although we inhabit these earthly bodies—often described as mere “tents”—our hearts and minds are directed toward our eternal home.

“And do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, that you may prove what is that good and acceptable and perfect will of God.” (Romans 12:2)

So, how do we navigate our lives as citizens of Heaven while living in this world? The answer is to dedicate ourselves to God’s purpose. We are called to invest our time, energy, resources, and talents into things that have eternal significance. While God desires us to enjoy the blessings of this life, we must hold them loosely, knowing they are temporary. With our eyes fixed on Heaven, we can live generously and courageously, understanding that our ultimate reward awaits us beyond this life.

“While Christians may live on earth, our eternal home is in Heaven.”

Prayer:

Heavenly Father, thank You for the promise of Heaven and the hope of eternity spent with You. Help me to keep my focus on my true home, finding peace even amidst life’s challenges. Lord, guide me in using my time, resources, and talents for Your Kingdom. Today, I choose to live with eternity in mind. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
