October 3rd 2025 – 33 Words of Blessing

“The Lord bless you and keep you; the Lord make his face shine on you and be gracious to you; the Lord turn his face toward you and give you peace.” (Numbers 6:24-26)

Let’s take a moment to pause and reflect on this beautiful blessing. These verses echo the depth of God’s desire to pour out His abundance upon us. Life’s journey is often filled with challenges and uncertainties, yet this scripture reassures us that the Lord is ever-present, watching over us with unwavering love and grace.

Picture the Lord’s face shining upon you, illuminating your path even in the darkest of times. When we invite His grace into our hearts, we make space for transformation and healing. In our moments of despair, we can find refuge in the knowledge that His favor envelops us, lifting our spirits and guiding us through our struggles.

As we delve deeper into this passage, let’s hold close the profound truth found in Numbers 6:27: “So they will put my name on the Israelites, and I will bless them.”

God bestows His name upon us, marking us as His own. This act transcends mere symbolism; it signifies a profound relationship and covenant with Him. Carrying His name means embodying His love and grace in the world, becoming vessels of His blessings for others.

In closing, let us embrace this promise:

“33 Words of Blessing”
May the Lord bless you and protect you, may the Lord smile on you and be gracious to you, may the Lord show you his favor and give you peace. In Jesus name Amen.

As you walk through your days, may you do so with the assurance of His presence, knowing you are blessed and cherished as a beloved child of God.

“To carry God’s name on us is to wear the mark of His love; it is a reminder that we are His cherished children, called to reflect His grace and blessings in a world that longs for hope.”

Prayer:
Heavenly Father, thank You for Your constant presence in our lives. Help us to recognize Your blessings, even amidst our trials. May we feel Your face shining upon us, guiding us with grace and peace. As we carry Your name, empower us to be vessels of Your love and blessings to others. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

March 1st 2025 – Handwriting On The Wall

“And this is the inscription that was written: MENE, MENE, TEKEL, UPHARSIN. This is the interpretation of each word: Mene means God has numbered your kingdom and brought it to an end; Tekel means you have been weighed on the scales and found lacking; Peres means your kingdom has been divided and given to the Medes and Persians.” (Daniel 5:25-28)

King Belshazzar was terrified. During a party where he openly mocked the God of Israel and celebrated the false gods of Babylon, mysterious fingers appeared and wrote this message. While it’s easy for us to judge the king for worshiping idols, we must remember that coveting can lead to idolatry.

“You can be sure that no immoral, impure, or greedy person—such a person is an idolater—has any inheritance in the kingdom of Christ and of God. Let no one deceive you with empty words, for because of such things, the wrath of God comes on those who are disobedient. Therefore, do not be partners with them.” (Ephesians 5:5-7)

Is there anything you prioritize over the Lord? Is God first in your time, talents, resources, and circumstances? If not, what takes precedence? Even if it seems good or noble, if it comes before God, it becomes an idol. Perhaps God is revealing something to you today that you have allowed to take His place.

Are you engaging with His Word before He issues corrective and loving judgment regarding that idol? God loves us deeply and often allows us to reflect on our lives in light of His truth before He steps in with correction.

“If we were more discerning with regard to ourselves, we would not come under such judgment. Nevertheless, when we are judged in this way by the Lord, we are being disciplined so that we will not be finally condemned with the world.” (1 Corinthians 11:31-32)

“Beware of the corrosion, corruption, and compromise that comes from covetousness.”

Prayer:

Heavenly Father, thank You for revealing Your righteous judgments and truths to me through Your Word. Please forgive me for prioritizing my time, talents, and resources toward other things instead of putting You first. Grant me the grace and strength to be Your disciple, allowing Your Spirit to guide me as I strive to walk in Your truths continually. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
