February 18th 2026 – The Good News

Scripture Reference:

“For I know that good itself does not dwell in me, that is, in my sinful nature. For I have the desire to do what is good, but I cannot carry it out. For I do not do the good I want to do, but the evil I do not want to do—this I keep on doing. Now if I do what I do not want to do, it is no longer I who do it, but it is sin living in me that does it.

So I find this law at work:  Although I want to do good, evil is right there with me. For in my inner being I delight in God’s law; but I see another law at work in me, waging war against the law of my mind and making me a prisoner of the law of sin at work within me. What a wretched man I am! Who will rescue me from this body that is subject to death? 25 Thanks be to God, who delivers me through Jesus Christ our Lord!” (Romans 7:18-25)

Reflection:

As I reflect on my journey before encountering Christ, I realize something profound: I had never truly heard the Gospel. Despite wandering through life, searching for meaning and fulfillment, I was unaware of the good news that awaited me. It wasn’t until I experienced a personal transformation that I began to understand the depth of the Gospel message.

The Void Within Us

We all share a void—a deep-seated separation from God, stemming from the fall in the Garden of Eden. We often try to fill this emptiness with various pursuits, but like many, I found no true satisfaction until I met Jesus. This void wasn’t just a feeling; it was a spiritual reality. Romans 7 reminds us that we are born into sin, and without Christ, we face eternal separation from our Creator. This truth is hard to swallow, yet it’s essential for understanding the incredible grace that follows.

The Good News of Jesus Christ

Here lies the beauty of the Gospel: Jesus Christ, God in the flesh, came to bridge that gap. He walked among us, faced our struggles, and ultimately took our place on the cross. He was crucified, buried, and three days later, He rose again, conquering sin, death, and the grave. This is the heart of the good news—our separation can be healed. Through faith in Him, repentance, and trust, we are forgiven and made new.

A Call to Share

Scriptural Seeds, this gift from God, is not mine but His. It exists solely to share this transformative message. I remember the early days of writing the the Seeds and the comments from people praising God for the good news I was sharing. But it made me realize how vital it is to proclaim this truth boldly. I was once disconnected from God, but now, I am connected through Christ, who lives in me—the hope of glory.

As believers, we are called to be servants of Jesus, to carry this message to the ends of the earth. Each of us has a purpose in spreading the Gospel, ensuring that as many as possible hear and respond to the good news.

“Imagine standing before Him one day. Will you know Him? This question drives me daily to share the good news. It compels me to live out my faith in a way that reflects His love and grace.”

“True transformation begins not in understanding the Gospel, but in experiencing the love of Christ that fills the void within us.”

Prayer:

Lord, thank You for the incredible gift of the Gospel, for the good news that brings hope, healing, and transformation. We are grateful that You sent Your Son to bridge the gap between us and You. Help us to recognize the voids in our own hearts and in those around us. May Your love fill us completely, driving us to share this message boldly with others.

Guide us in our conversations, that we may speak of Your grace and mercy with clarity and compassion. Give us the courage to step out of our comfort zones and be vessels of Your truth in a world that desperately needs it. Help us to reflect Your character in our daily lives, so that others may see You in us.

We pray for those who are still searching, who feel lost and disconnected. May they encounter Your love through our words and actions. Let our lives be testimonies of Your goodness and faithfulness. As we share the good news, may we trust in Your power to transform hearts and lives.

Thank You, Lord, for the hope we have in You. Until the day we stand before You, let us be faithful servants, proclaiming the good news and inviting others to know You. In Jesus’ name, we pray. Amen.”

December 24th 2025 – A Night of Hope and Joy

Scripture Reading:
“But the angel said to them, ‘Do not be afraid. I bring you good news that will cause great joy for all the people.'” (Luke 2:10)

Reflection:
On this Christmas Eve, we gather in anticipation and gratitude, reflecting on the profound message delivered by the angel to the shepherds. This announcement came in the midst of darkness and uncertainty, reminding us that even in our most fearful moments, God brings hope and joy.

The angel’s words, “Do not be afraid,” resonate deeply. They remind us that fear has no place in the hearts of those who believe in the Good News. The birth of Jesus is indeed a source of great joy—not just for a select few, but for all people. It is a universal message of love, grace, and redemption.

As we celebrate this holy night, let us remember that the joy of Christmas is rooted in the promise of Emmanuel, God with us. It is a joy that transcends circumstances, offering peace and assurance in the knowledge that we are never alone.

Spend a few moments in silence, reflecting on the joy that Christ brings to your life and how you can share that joy with others this season. Consider reaching out to someone who may need encouragement or support, embodying the message of hope and love that Christmas represents.

As you conclude this devotion, carry the angel’s message of joy in your heart, allowing it to guide you through the festivities of Christmas and beyond. Remember, the good news is for you, for your family, and for all people. Merry Christmas!

“On this holy night, may we embrace the joy of Christ’s birth, letting His light dispel our fears and fill our hearts with the promise of hope for all.”

Prayer:

Heavenly Father, On this sacred night, we come before You with hearts full of gratitude for the incredible gift of Your Son, Jesus. Thank You for sending Him into our world to bring light into our darkness and hope into our despair. As we reflect on the angel’s message, we ask that You help us to truly understand the depth of the joy that His birth brings to our lives.

Lord, help us to cast aside our fears and anxieties. In a world filled with uncertainties, remind us that we can find solace in Your presence. May Your peace wash over us, calming our hearts and minds. Fill us with the joy that comes from knowing we are loved unconditionally and that we have a purpose in You.

We pray for those who are struggling this Christmas—those who feel lonely, lost, or afraid. May they experience the warmth of Your love and the joy of Your presence in their lives. Help us to be vessels of Your grace, reaching out to those in need and sharing the Good News of great joy with everyone we encounter.

As we celebrate with family and friends, may our gatherings be filled with laughter, love, and gratitude. Let us remember those who cannot be with us, and may we hold them in our thoughts and prayers. We ask that You bless our time together, reminding us of the true meaning of this season.

Thank You, Lord, for the hope that Christmas brings. May we carry that hope in our hearts throughout the year, sharing the light of Christ with a world that needs it so desperately. In Jesus’ name, we pray. Amen.
