Have you ever shown attitude toward someone? Maybe a cheek or a cold shoulder? We often treat people based on whatever emotion we’re feeling at the moment. Sometimes we’re sad, reaching out for comfort from those around us. Other times, anger consumes us, and we seek someone to blame, venting our frustrations on them. But the most painful feeling of all? Not feeling loved and shutting ourselves off from the ability to love in return. Fortunately, we have Jesus, who modeled for us the essence of love and how to treat others. Let’s reflect on how Jesus loved.
“If there is any encouragement in Christ, any consolation from love, any sharing in the Spirit, any compassion and sympathy, make my joy complete: be of the same mind, having the same love, being in full accord and of one mind. Do nothing from selfish ambition or conceit, but in humility regard others as better than yourselves. Let each of you look not to your own interests, but to the interests of others. Let the same mind be in you that was in Christ Jesus, who, though he was in the form of God, did not regard equality with God as something to be exploited, but emptied himself, taking the form of a servant, being born in human likeness. How do you treat the people around you?
Take a moment to reflect on this for each of the following categories: family, friends, neighbors, classmates, strangers, your teacher, or your boss.
How did Jesus treat others? How did He respond in times of anguish and pain? How encouraged are you to adopt that loving mindset?
I’ll admit, I don’t always treat others as I should. Sometimes, I feel spiteful; other times, I feel lonely or hurt. Anger can creep in, and I might feel wretched. So, what do we do when we find ourselves in such a state? Turning to God should always be our first option, yet it’s not always easy. Paul encourages us to act without selfish ambition, to consider the interests of others. I know I often fall short of “considering others better than myself” or treating them with the love they deserve.
But think about Jesus. He bore all our pain and lowered Himself to the status of a servant. He loved, He served, He saved, and then He lived. That’s how we must strive to live. There’s a song that reminds us, “We live, we love, we forgive and never give up, ’cause the days we are given are gifts from above. So today, remember to love.”
“Jesus gave us the commandment to love one another. As He has loved us, we need to show compassion and love to others. If you don’t know how, ask Jesus to teach you to love like He does.”
Prayer:
Heavenly Father, Your greatness astounds me, and Your love fills my heart with gratitude. I thank You for the gift of my wife, my family, and my friends who pour their love into my life each day. Please teach me to love like You love—unconditionally, selflessly, and wholeheartedly. Help me to embrace each opportunity to show compassion, understanding, and kindness to everyone I encounter. Grant me the strength to rise above my feelings of anger, hurt, or loneliness, and instead reflect Your love in my actions. In these times, we have seen muiltple attempts on the life of this man, revealing the lengths to which some will go to maintain the status quo. The recent assassination of Charlie Kirk, It is a stark reminder that the battle between good and evil is very real and present in all of our lives. The division Jesus spoke of is not just theoretical; it is alive and impacting our lives today.
As Christians, we must discern the policies and practices that align with God’s laws. This is a call to examine where we stand—not just politically, but morally and spiritually. Are we choosing to support what aligns with the heart of God? Are we recognizing that our votes carry the weight of our values?
While it is easy to critique individuals, the true challenge lies in understanding the broader choice we face: to stand for God’s laws or against them. The current climate is a reflection of this spiritual battle. The Republican party may not be perfect, but there is a growing recognition among many that its core principles align more closely with biblical values than those of the opposing side.
As we meditate on today’s scripture, let us ask ourselves: Are we interpreting the signs of our time with clarity? Are we willing to make a stand, even if it means facing division? Jesus’ call is clear. He invites us to choose Him, to stand for righteousness, and to be lights in a world that desperately needs it.

In every season of life, the condition of our hearts determines what kind of fruit will grow. Just as a garden must be prepared, weeded, and cared for, our hearts need tending so the Word of God can take deep root.
There are times when worry, fear, or sin make our hearts feel hard or cluttered. The soil becomes packed down with distractions, and the seed of God’s Word struggles to grow. But God has not left us without hope. He calls us to “break up the unplowed ground” and make room for His Spirit to do a new work in us.
When we invite Him in, He softens what is hard, clears away the thorns, and plants His truth in fertile soil. In that place of surrender, His Word produces a harvest far greater than we could imagine—love, joy, peace, kindness, and all the fruits of His Spirit.
Today, let us open our hearts fully to Him. Let us till the soil with prayer, water it with His Word, and trust that He will bring forth the harvest in His time.

“Because I am righteous, I will see you. When I awake, I will see you face to face and be satisfied.” (Psalm 17:15)
I recently came across an insightful article stating that a baby’s sight is the last sense to develop. Yet, even before they can focus, newborns instinctively look toward faces. Studies reveal that infants begin reading faces at a remarkably young age; they can sense the warmth of a smile and respond in kind. When a mother frequently smiles and interacts with her newborn, that little one lights up with anticipation as soon as she enters the room, ready to connect.
Conversely, babies are also acutely aware of negative emotions. If a mother’s face shows displeasure or anger, the child’s smile quickly fades, eyes clouding with confusion. They are masters at picking up cues from those around them, especially their primary caregiver.
When infants miss out on these positive interactions during crucial developmental stages, it stunts their emotional growth. Older children who lack such nurturing often struggle to express feelings and connect with others. In some parts of the world, orphans left alone in cribs miss out on these vital exchanges, leading to profound emotional and physical delays. The research is clear: face-to-face interaction is essential for healthy development.
As adults, we continue this pattern. We instinctively gauge the emotions of those around us, interpreting their expressions to understand their feelings. A raised eyebrow or a subtle smile can guide how we communicate. We adapt our words and stories based on the reactions we observe, seeking approval and connection.
Perhaps this innate tendency to watch faces is a divine design to help us relate to God.
My heart says of You, “Seek His face!” Your face, Lord, I will seek. (Psalm 27:8)
David uniquely emphasized God’s face throughout Scripture. He’s the only person described as a man after God’s own heart. Could it be that David’s closeness to God stemmed from his practice of seeking God’s face? He learned to draw his cues not from the world around him but from the very presence of the Almighty.
If we, like a newborn, seek to look into God’s face, we allow His gaze to guide us. As we immerse ourselves in His presence, we begin to reflect His righteousness. Just as a child delights in the approval of loving parents, we find joy in knowing we bring pleasure to our Heavenly Father.
Yet, in our busy lives, it’s easy to lose sight of His face. We can become preoccupied with the opinions of friends, church members, and society at large, allowing distractions to pull us away from the One who longs for our gaze.
If we neglect to seek God’s face, we risk becoming spiritually stunted, much like those infants deprived of nurturing care. We won’t mirror God’s love and righteousness to the world. I don’t want that for myself; I want to reflect His glory and grace to those around me.
“In seeking the face of God with a desire for Jesus, we find our true reflection; His love transforms our hearts, guiding us to shine His righteousness into the world.”
Prayer:
Heavenly Father, I come before You with a heart yearning for connection. Help me to turn my eyes toward You and to gaze deeply into Your eyes. Like David, I long to seek Your face and live a life that brings You joy. May my heart be attuned to Your presence, and may I reflect Your righteousness in all I do. Show me Your smile, Lord, and fill me with Your love. Thank You for the gift of life and for being the ultimate Father who cares for me. In Jesus’ precious name, I pray, Amen.

“But about that day or hour no one knows, not even the angels in heaven, nor the Son, but only the Father. As it was in the days of Noah, so it will be at the coming of the Son of Man. For in the days before the flood, people were eating and drinking, marrying and giving in marriage, up to the day Noah entered the ark; and they knew nothing about what would happen until the flood came and took them all away. In the rush of daily life, it can be easy to forget the urgency of our calling as Christians. Yet, as we look around us, we see the signs of the times unfolding in remarkable ways, sometimes daily. The world is experiencing unprecedented change, and many are oblivious to the spiritual implications of these events. There are to many examples to list, so I listed the major ones.
Examples of Prophecies Unfolding:
Increase in Natural Disasters: We have witnessed a rise in earthquakes, hurricanes, volcanoes, and wildfires. These disasters remind us of the fragility of life and the importance of being prepared for Christ’s return. (Reference: Matthew 24:7)
Plagues and Pestilence: The emergence of COVID-19 and its profound impact on global health mirrors biblical prophecies of pestilence. Additionally, recently there have been concerns over the resurgence of diseases reminiscent of the Black Plague, highlighting the ongoing reality of such warnings in Scripture. (Reference: Luke 21:11)
Moral Decline: Values that were once held sacred are being challenged, and society is drifting further away from God’s truths. This moral decay echoes the times of Noah, where righteousness was scarce. (Reference: Genesis 6:5)
Global Conflict and Unrest: Nations are rising against nations, and tensions are high in many regions. This aligns with Jesus’ warnings about strife in the last days, urging us to remain vigilant. (Reference: Matthew 24:6)
Technological Advancements: The rapid growth of technology has made communication instantaneous, allowing the Gospel to reach corners of the world that were previously inaccessible. The invention of microchips, which some speculate could be linked to the “mark of the beast,” reflects the escalating pace of prophecy fulfillment. (Reference: Revelation 13:16-18)
Rebuilding of the Temple: Discussions about the rebuilding of the Third Temple in Jerusalem have intensified, signaling a significant prophetic milestone in the timeline of the end times. This event is pivotal in biblical prophecy and could usher in profound changes in the spiritual landscape. (Reference: Ezekiel 40-43)
Shortening of Days: The Bible speaks of the days being shortened for the sake of the elect. Many are noticing the rapid passage of time, as life seems to accelerate. This serves as a reminder to remain focused on our mission and to live each day with purpose. (Reference: Matthew 24:22)
In light of these developments, we must recognize our responsibility to share the Gospel with urgency. We are not merely observers; we are called to be messengers of hope and truth.
Encouragement to Share the Gospel:
Be Bold in Your Faith: Don’t shy away from conversations about your faith. Share your testimony and how Jesus has transformed your life. Remember, your story can resonate deeply with someone searching for hope.
Use Every Opportunity: Whether it’s at work, school, or in your community, look for opportunities to share the message of salvation. A simple conversation can plant the seeds of faith in someone’s heart.
Pray for Opportunities: Ask God to open doors for you to share the Gospel. Pray for the boldness to speak up when the moment arises.
Engage with Your Community: Get involved in local outreach programs or mission trips. These experiences can strengthen your faith and provide a platform to share God’s love.
As we reflect on the urgency of our time, let us not be like those in the days of Noah, who were caught off guard. Instead, may we be vigilant, faithful, and proactive in delivering God’s message. The clock is ticking, and every moment counts. Let us embrace our role as ambassadors of Christ, sharing the hope of the Gospel until the very last second.

As we witness the tumultuous events unfolding around us—natural disasters, societal upheaval, moral decay and now the recent news of a possible war with Russia—it becomes increasingly clear that the words of Scripture are coming to fruition.
The prophets of old spoke of a time when the hearts of many would grow cold (Matthew 24:12) and when nations would rise against nations (Matthew 24:7). Each day, we see these signs manifesting in ways that stir our hearts and minds. Yet, amidst this chaos, there is a profound message of hope: Jesus Christ is our anchor in the storm, our refuge and strength (Psalm 46:1).
This is a call to action, a divine invitation to draw closer to Him. If you have not yet established a relationship with Jesus, don’t wait until it’s too late. The time to get right with the Lord is now. The Scriptures remind us that today is the day of salvation (2 Corinthians 6:2).

Proverbs 18:21 reminds us that our tongues possess the incredible power to shape our reality and influence the lives of others. Every word we speak can either lift someone up or tear them down, bring hope or despair, foster love or stir conflict.
Consider how Jesus used His words during His ministry. He spoke to the weary and burdened, offering rest and hope. He called forth Lazarus from the tomb with just a command, illustrating that His words were not mere sounds but conduits of divine power. As followers of Christ, we are called to emulate this example, using our words to reflect His love and grace.
As you go about your day, take a moment to observe your conversations. Are your words bringing life? Consider ways you can intentionally speak life into situations—offering compliments, words of encouragement, or simply listening with compassion. This week, make a conscious effort to use your words to uplift those around you. Write down three positive things you can say to others and share them. Notice how your words create a ripple effect of positivity and encouragement.

“Rejoice in the Lord always. I will say it again: Rejoice! Let your gentleness be evident to all. The Lord is near. Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.” (Philippians 4:4-7)
In a world rife with uncertainty and anxiety, the words of Paul in Philippians 4:4-7 serve as a gentle reminder of the peace and joy that can be found in our relationship with Christ.
