October 23rd 2025 – The Shepherd’s Embrace

Scripture Reading:

“He tends his flock like a shepherd: He gathers the lambs in his arms and carries them close to his heart; he gently leads those that have young.” – Isaiah 40:11

Reflection:

In this tumultuous time we live in, filled with uncertainty and chaos, the imagery of God as a loving shepherd is more relevant than ever. This picture not only illustrates His desire for intimacy with us but also offers comfort and reassurance in our daily lives.

Take a moment to pause amidst the noise around you. Close your eyes and visualize the shepherd, a figure of strength and tenderness, gently lifting each lamb into His arms. Imagine His face, filled with love and compassion, as He looks down into your eyes. This is not merely a metaphor; it is an invitation to experience a profound connection with the Divine.

As we navigate the challenges of modern life—stress from work, the weight of responsibilities, and the societal pressures we face—remember that there is a refuge available to us. In the shepherd’s embrace, we find not only safety but also a deep sense of belonging. The lambs trust their shepherd completely; they know they are cherished and protected.

God wants us to understand that He longs to carry us, to support us through our struggles, and to offer us His peace. Are you feeling weary, lost, or alone? Allow yourself to be that little lamb needing His nurturing embrace. When you accept His invitation, you will discover a sanctuary unlike any other, a place where your heart can find rest.

Contemplation:

In the stillness of this moment, allow yourself to envision the Shepherd holding you close. Picture the warmth of His embrace, the gentle rhythm of His heartbeat, and the unwavering love in His gaze.

Reflect on the areas of your life where you feel lost or burdened. Imagine placing those worries into His strong hands, trusting that He will carry you through.

As you breathe deeply, let the weight of your concerns lift, replaced by the peace that comes from knowing you are cherished and protected. Allow this intimate connection with your Shepherd to fill your heart with hope and assurance.

In silence, listen for His voice, reminding you that you are never alone and that His love is a constant source of strength. Let this moment of contemplation deepen your relationship with God, guiding you to a place of rest and security in His care.

“Amidst life’s storms, let me rest in the embrace of my Shepherd, where love and safety cradle my weary heart.”

Prayer:

Heavenly Father, I come before You with an open heart, longing to be gathered into Your big, strong arms. In a world that often feels overwhelming, I seek the comfort and safety found only in Your embrace. Help me to silence the distractions around me and to focus on the sound of Your heartbeat, a rhythm that brings peace to my weary soul.

Thank You for inviting me into a relationship where I can feel secure and loved. Remind me that I am never alone, for You are always by my side, guiding me gently through life’s valleys. As I encounter difficulties, let me remember to lean into You, trusting in Your unfailing love and protection.

May I always be aware of the special place You have reserved for me in Your heart. Thank You for being my Great Shepherd, for knowing me by name, and for carrying me close to Your heart. In Jesus’ name I pray, Amen.

October 22nd 2025 – Devine Attention

Scripture Reading:

“Jesus entered Jericho and made his way through the town. There was a man there named Zacchaeus. He was the chief tax collector in the region, and he had become very rich. He tried to get a look at Jesus, but he was too short to see over the crowd.” (Luke 19:1-2)

Reflection:

In society, where success is often measured by wealth, status, and popularity, Zacchaeus might be seen as a failure. He was short in stature, despised for his role as a tax collector, and filled with self-loathing for the way he had lived his life. Despite his riches and position, he was isolated and lonely.

However, everything changed for Zacchaeus when Jesus came to town. He desperately wanted to see Jesus but found himself blocked by the crowd. So, he ran ahead and climbed a sycamore tree to catch a glimpse.

“When Jesus came by, He looked up at Zacchaeus and called him by name. ‘Zacchaeus!’ he said. ‘Quick, come down! I must be a guest in your home today.’” (Luke 19:5)

Imagine the shock and joy Zacchaeus felt at that moment. Here was Jesus, the one everyone was talking about, stopping and looking directly at him, recognizing him amidst the crowd. It was a moment of profound connection and affirmation.

Just as Jesus noticed Zacchaeus, He notices you. No matter where you find yourself in life—feeling stuck, alone, or overlooked—God knows your location, your struggles, and your heart. You might feel like you’re perched in a tree, trying to see the world around you, but remember, you are never out of God’s sight.

God sees your pain, your efforts, and the tears you’ve shed. In every moment, He is aware of your struggles and joys.

“What is the price of five sparrows, two copper coins? Yet God does not forget a single one of them. And the very hairs on your head are all numbered. So don’t be afraid; you are more valuable to God than a whole flock of sparrows.” – Luke 12:6-7

Application:

The greatest gift we can offer one another is our attention. When we take the time to truly listen and engage with someone, we communicate their worth. Reach out to those you care about. Make a call, send a text, or visit someone who might be feeling alone. Remind them they matter.

“Even in a crowd, I am seen and valued; God knows my name and calls me to a deeper connection.”

Prayer:

Heavenly Father, Thank You for always noticing me, even when I feel insignificant or alone. In moments of doubt and loneliness, remind me of Your unwavering love and presence in my life. I come to You today with an open heart, longing for Your guidance and strength. Help me to recognize the value You place on me, even when the world tells me otherwise.

Lord, I ask for Your grace to fill my heart, allowing me to let go of any feelings of unworthiness or shame. May I find comfort in knowing that I am seen and cherished by You. Teach me to extend that same love and attention to those around me, especially to those who may feel overlooked or forgotten.

I pray for opportunities to connect with my loved ones, to reach out to those who may be struggling, and to make amends where needed. Let my words and actions reflect Your love and compassion, reminding others that they matter deeply. Please guide me in my interactions, helping me to be a light in someone’s life. May I be quick to listen and slow to judge, showing kindness and understanding to everyone I encounter. Thank You for the gift of Your presence and the promise that You are always with me. I trust You with my journey and my heart, and I desire to glorify Your name in all that I do. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

October 21st 2025 – Canvas of hope, Love and Purpose

Scripture Reading:

“Where, O death, is your victory? Where, O death, is your sting? The sting of death is sin, and the power of sin is the law. But thanks be to God! He gives us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ.” (1 Corinthians 15:55-57)

Reflection:

In the midst of life’s uncertainties, 1 Corinthians 15 stands as a beacon of hope and assurance. The Apostle Paul writes to the Corinthian church, addressing a community grappling with questions about resurrection and eternal life. His words resonate deeply with us today, reminding us that death, often seen as the ultimate enemy, has been defeated through Christ. Paul’s rhetorical questions pierce through despair. “Where, O death, is your victory?” he asks, challenging the very notion that death can claim victory over humanity. For those who believe in Jesus, death is no longer a final destination but a passage into the fullness of life with God. This profound truth shifts our perspective, allowing us to see beyond the pain and loss we experience in this world.

The sting of death is sin, and the power of sin is the law. Yet, in the heart of this passage, we find grace. The law, which reveals our shortcomings, also points us to our need for a Savior. In Jesus, we find that grace abounds, offering us forgiveness and redemption. Through His resurrection, we are assured that sin does not define us, nor does death have the final say.

As we reflect on our own lives, we may encounter moments of doubt, fear, and sorrow. Perhaps we’ve experienced the loss of loved ones, faced illness, or felt the weight of unconfessed sin. In these times, it’s crucial to remember that we are not alone. Jesus walks with us, sharing in our grief and offering comfort. He invites us to lay our burdens at His feet, assuring us that His victory over death is also our victory.

Contemplation:

Take some time now to reflect on your own journey. Are there fears or losses that you need to surrender to God? Visualize laying these burdens at His feet, inviting His peace to wash over you. Allow the hope of the resurrection to fill your heart, knowing that you are loved beyond measure.

Application:

This week, seek opportunities to share the message of hope found in 1 Corinthians 15. Whether through a conversation, a note of encouragement, or simply a listening ear, let others know that in Christ, there is victory over death and sin. Be a source of light in someone’s life, reminding them of the eternal hope we have through our Lord Jesus Christ.

“Embrace each day as a gift, for within every moment lies the potential for hope, healing, and the beauty of new beginnings.”

Prayer:

Gracious Heavenly Father, we come before You with hearts full of gratitude for the incredible gift of Your Son, Jesus Christ. Thank You for the victory He achieved on the cross and through His resurrection, which assures us that death is not the end. We praise You for the hope we have in Him, a hope that transcends our circumstances and brings peace in our storms.

Lord, we acknowledge the sting of death and the pain of loss that we carry. We lift up to You those who are grieving, those who feel the weight of despair, and those who are uncertain of what lies ahead. Surround them with Your comfort, Lord. Remind them of Your promises and the eternal life that awaits us through faith in You.

Help us, O God, to live in the light of this victory. May our lives reflect the hope we have in Christ, and may we be instruments of Your peace to those around us. When we encounter fear or doubt, remind us of the assurance found in Your Word. Empower us to share this good news with others, so they too may experience the joy of salvation and the hope of resurrection.

As we go through our days, may we hold tightly to the truth that in Christ, we are more than conquerors. Let our hearts be filled with joy and thanksgiving, knowing that our future is secure in Your hands. We trust in Your unfailing love and grace. In the precious name of Jesus, we pray, Amen.

October 20th 2025 – The Master’s Hands

Scripture Reading:

“Shall what is formed say to Him who formed it, ‘Why did you make me like this?’” (Isaiah 29:16)

Reflection:

Imagine…the God of the universe, who breathed life into the stars and painted the skies with wonder, is the very same One who intricately crafted you into being. Every detail—your eyes, your smile, your hands—was lovingly designed by the Creator who cradles the oceans in His palms. It’s a humbling thought, isn’t it? In a world that often feels chaotic and unpredictable, what comfort it brings to know that the One who knows every hair on your head created you with purpose and intention—and still longs to shape you into His reflection.

This journey of transformation is often challenging and, at times, painful. There are moments of molding, cutting, and reshaping that can feel overwhelming. Yet, within our Master’s skilled hands, we are being refined into a masterpiece. When we surrender our lives to Him, He can take the hardened clay of our hearts and breathe new life into it, saturating it with His Word and Spirit. He gently chisels away the burdens and excesses that weigh us down, working tirelessly to form us into the image of His Son.

In times of hardship, trials, or life-altering challenges, it’s easy to feel lost and alone. We may find ourselves questioning the “why” behind our struggles, grappling with pain that seems unjust. Some challenges stem from our choices, while others come from circumstances beyond our control. But take comfort in this: whatever situation we face, God is using it to mold us. Even when the process is difficult and the path unclear, we can trust in His hands because He loves us deeply and knows what is best for us.

I have walked through valleys of extraordinary hardship, trials, and loss; each experience has left its mark on my heart. Yet, as painful as those moments were, I wouldn’t trade them for anything. They have shaped me into who I am today—a work in progress, but one that is held securely in the hands of the Master. I am reminded that His name is written on my heart, and I belong to Him.

“Just as a skilled potter shapes clay with intention and care, God lovingly molds our lives through every trial and triumph, transforming our brokenness into a masterpiece that reflects His grace and love.”

Prayer:

Heavenly Father, thank You for the forgiveness of sins through Your Son, Jesus. Thank You for the gift of salvation and the transformation You bring into our lives. Lord, I come before You as a broken vessel, asking that You take this clay and make it new. Mold my life into a reflection of Your love and grace. Help me to see my struggles as Your hands shaping me into the likeness of Christ. May I embrace the challenges that come my way, recognizing them as opportunities for growth and deeper reliance on You. Fill me with Your strength in moments of weakness, and grant me the courage to trust in Your perfect plan, even when I don’t understand. Use my life for Your glory and purpose, so that I may be a light in this world, reflecting Your love to those around me. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

October 19th 2025 – Having Faith During The End Times

Scripture Reading:

“Behold the proud, His soul is not upright in him; But the just shall live by his faith.” (Habakkuk 2:4)

Reflection:

Faith, at its core, is the unwavering trust in God—a deep-seated belief that He will fulfill His promises. This trust forms the foundation of our Christian journey, intricately woven into both our salvation and the path we walk with the Lord daily. Yet, the most challenging aspect of faith often lies in the waiting. God has assured us of many things, including His glorious return, but the passage of time can test our patience and resolve. This is why it becomes essential to anchor our trust in God’s word rather than the chaotic reality that surrounds us.

As we gaze upon the world, it’s hard to ignore the corruption in leadership, the rampant sin, and the enemy sowing discord in countless lives. In these moments, we may find ourselves crying out, “Lord Jesus, come!” But even amidst our desperation, we are called to walk in faith. We must remind ourselves that God’s plan is infinitely wiser than our own. He may be allowing our trials to linger a bit longer to invite more souls into His embrace.

The beautiful truth is that one day, He will return, and when that moment arrives, everything will be restored. Our world, marred by pain and suffering, will be transformed. This is not just a comforting story; it’s the promise of reality. Our faith rests in the One who has demonstrated His faithfulness throughout history, time and time again.

“When Christ returns, the world will be remade, our flesh will be made new, and the devil will be cast away forever.”

Prayer:

Heavenly Father, I come before You with a heart full of gratitude for the promises laid out in Scripture. In this tumultuous world, help me to cultivate a faith that stands firm, regardless of my circumstances or the chaos I witness around me. Strengthen my trust in Your timing and Your plans, knowing that You are working all things for good. I believe wholeheartedly that You are the Almighty God, that Jesus is my Savior, and that His return is imminent. Empower me to share this message of hope and light with everyone I encounter. May my life be a testament to Your love and faithfulness. In Jesus’ mighty name, I pray, Amen.

October 18th 2025 – YOUnique Gifts & Talents

Scripture Reading:

“For what gives you the right to make such a judgment? What do you have that God hasn’t given you? And if everything you have is from God, why boast as though it were not a gift?” (1 Corinthians 4:7)

Reflection:

God has uniquely crafted you with special gifts because He has significant plans for your life. Embrace the calling He has placed upon you with gratitude and joy, but be mindful of where your gaze wanders. It’s all too easy to become envious of the gifts that others possess, leading us to overlook the incredible blessings God has given us. When we allow envy to take root, we risk telling God that His choices for us are flawed. Reflect on this profound question: where does pride misplace your reliance? Pride can be a deceptive force, leading us away from the truth and causing harm, even with the best of intentions.

“Because of the privilege and authority God has given me, I give each of you this warning: Don’t think you are better than you really are. Be honest in your evaluation of yourselves, measuring yourselves by the faith God has given us.” (Romans 12:3)

Application:

So, how do you begin to explore the gifts God has bestowed upon you? You won’t find clarity while remaining stagnant. Turn to prayer and earnestly seek God’s guidance on how you can serve Him. As you step out in faith, you will uncover the unique abilities He has placed within you. Engaging in service will help you discover and cultivate skills you never knew you had. Just like talented musicians who dedicate countless hours to perfecting their craft, the more you exercise your gifts, the more you will grow and flourish in them. Are you using your gifts faithfully and wholeheartedly?

“We have all received gifts from God. It is our responsibility to nurture these gifts for His glory and to bless others.”

Prayer:

Heavenly Father, I come before You with a heart full of gratitude. Thank You for loving me unconditionally and for the unique gifts and talents You have woven into my being. I am in awe of Your wisdom in choosing to bless me with these abilities, and I recognize that they are not just for my benefit but for the purpose of serving others and glorifying You.

Lord, I confess that I have often taken my gifts for granted and allowed envy to cloud my vision. I’ve been distracted by what others have, forgetting to appreciate the beauty of what You’ve given me. Forgive me for my ungratefulness and for moments when I’ve doubted Your perfect plan for my life. Help me to see my gifts through Your eyes and to embrace the calling You have placed on my heart.

Guide me, Lord, as I seek to use my gifts to uplift others and to bring glory to Your name. Show me the ways I can serve You and those around me with the talents I have. Help me to be diligent in nurturing these gifts, to recognize opportunities to share them, and to do so with a spirit of humility and love.

I surrender my life to You, asking for Your strength and wisdom as I embark on this journey of discovery and service. May my actions reflect Your grace, and may I always remember that every good gift comes from You. In Jesus’ name, I pray. Amen.

Invitation:

October 17th 2025 – Living Water

Scripture Reading:

“Please, sir,” the woman said, “give me some of that water! Then I’ll never be thirsty again, and I won’t have to come here to haul water.” (John 4:15)

Reflection:

We live in a world full of thirst—sometimes the obvious kind, sometimes a deeper, quieter one our eyes miss. Jesus met a woman at a well in a hot, dusty place and spoke of water that satisfies beyond the physical. The story reminds us that people’s day-to-day complaints and cracks—arguments at home, loneliness, burnout, anxiety, or restlessness—are often the language of thirst. “I’m tired,” “I can’t handle this,” or “I don’t belong”—these can be, in effect, requests for water that only Christ can give.

Our communities include many who are spiritually parched but who don’t always ask plainly. We walk by neighbors, coworkers, and family members who seem impatient, distracted, or closed off, and we fail to hear the deeper plea: “I am thirsty.” Sometimes we think only of material help and assume that without money or solutions there’s nothing we can do. Yet Jesus offered living water—freely, abundantly, without condition. That invitation is the greatest resource we can share. Hospitality, attentive listening, honest prayer, and the courage to speak of Jesus’ life-giving love are all ways we offer that water.

Look for the well in the ordinary places. Notice the small signals of thirst. Let compassion shape your response before you analyze the problem. We should be pouring out to the world what God has poured into us—patience, presence, grace, and the simple witness that in Christ there is a spring that never runs dry.

Call to action:

  1. Today, pause and pray for eyes to see one person who seems thirsty—neighbor, coworker, or family member.
  2. This week, intentionally listen to that person for at least 10 minutes without trying to fix anything; ask a gentle question and pray with or for them.
  3. Offer one concrete act of compassion (a meal, a ride, a phone call, childcare, or resources) and share briefly how Jesus has satisfied you.
  4. Invite them to a church gathering, small group, or a conversation about faith—no pressure, just an open door.
  5. Commit to praying daily for that person for 30 days and note any ways God answers.

“When we offer our presence and speak of Christ’s living water, even a small cup can end a lifetime of thirst.”

Prayer:

Lord Jesus, living Water, thank You that You meet us where we are—at the well, at our kitchen tables, in the middle of sleepless nights and frantic days. Forgive us for the times we have walked past thirsty people because we were in a hurry or unsure what to say. Open our eyes to the many ways thirst shows up in others and give us ears to hear the silent pleas beneath the words.

Fill us with Your Spirit so our hearts overflow with compassion, gentleness, and courage. Help us to offer practical care and also to point others to the deeper satisfaction found in You. When we lack resources, remind us that presence and prayer are not small things; they are channels of Your grace. Teach us to listen without rushing to fix, to sit with sorrow without impatience, and to speak of Your love with humility and boldness.

Pour Your living water into those who feel dry and weary—those whose hope is thin, whose burdens are heavy, whose days are lonely. Refresh marriages, mend fractured families, give patience to exhausted caregivers, and steady the anxious and depressed. Raise up workers for the harvest—people willing to sit at wells, to offer a cup, and to share the story of Jesus. Use our imperfect hands and words to bring Your wholeness.

We trust the results to You. Let the fruit be Yours alone, and let us remain faithful to the calling to offer what You have given. In the name of Jesus, the Source of living water, we pray. Amen.

If you feel a stirring in your heart and are ready to experience the transformative love of Jesus, we invite you to take a step of faith. Accepting Jesus into your life is the most profound decision you can make. He longs to have a personal relationship with you, offering forgiveness, hope, and purpose. Are you ready to invite Him in? Click here  to begin your journey with Jesus and discover the peace and joy that come from knowing Him. October 16th 2025 – Unshakeable Faithfulness

Scripture Reading:

“Now to Him who is able to establish you according to my gospel and the preaching of Jesus Christ, according to the revelation of the mystery kept secret since the world began” (Romans 16:25).

Our God is a keeper of promises. While He may hold some mysteries close to His heart, His faithfulness is unwavering. He establishes us as His beloved children, generously pouring out His love through Jesus Christ. We are held securely in His hand, a place from which no force can snatch us away.

As stated in John 10:27-30: “My sheep hear My voice, and I know them, and they follow Me. And I give them eternal life, and they shall never perish; neither shall anyone snatch them out of My hand. My Father, who has given them to Me, is greater than all; and no one is able to snatch them out of My Father’s hand. I and My Father are one.”

Where we may falter in keeping our promises to God, our Father remains steadfast in His promises to us. He establishes us and holds on tight. Reflect for a moment: What commitments have you made to God that you might have overlooked? Despite our shortcomings, God’s faithfulness never wavers. Don’t you think it’s time to renew your commitment to Him? Our actions reveal the commitments we uphold. How would your family describe your dedication to serving God? And what about a stranger?

“Amidst life’s uncertainties, I find my anchor in God’s unwavering faithfulness; His love establishes me and empowers me to live out my commitments, reflecting His grace to the world.”

Prayer

Heavenly Father, I come before You with a grateful heart, acknowledging Your unfailing love and the immense grace You extend to me each day. Thank You for the gift of forgiveness, for washing away my sins and giving me a fresh start. I am truly humbled by Your faithfulness, even when I fall short.

Lord, I seek Your mercy anew. Fill me with Your Spirit and guide me as I navigate the challenges of life. Help me to be more attentive to Your voice, to recognize the commitments I’ve made to You, and to act on them with sincerity and dedication.

I desire to be a vessel for Your love, sharing the simple yet profound truth of Your Word with everyone I encounter. Strengthen my resolve to serve You wholeheartedly, so that my life may reflect Your light and grace.

May my actions inspire those around me to seek You, and may my heart always be aligned with Your will. Thank You for being my anchor, my refuge, and my strength. I trust in Your perfect plan for my life and ask for the courage to follow it faithfully. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

October 15th 2025 – Unhindered

Scripture Reading:

“If others are partakers of this right over you, are we not even more? Nevertheless, we have not used this right, but endure all things lest we hinder the gospel of Christ.” (1 Corinthians 9:12)

The apostle Paul exemplified what it means to sacrifice for the Gospel. He faced imprisonment, beatings, shipwrecks, and even venomous snake bites, yet his resolve to proclaim Christ remained unwavering. In his correspondence with the Corinthians, we witness a man committed to his mission, unshaken by the trials that sought to deter him. How could he persevere? The answer is profound yet simple: he deeply understood the God he served.

Stepping out in faith often means embracing the unknown. God may call us to share the Gospel with someone whose response is uncertain or to contribute to our church when our own financial situation feels precarious. In every circumstance, one truth stands firm—God is unchanging. He is the same God who provided for Paul in his times of need, who safeguarded him during perilous journeys, and who offered His Son as the ultimate sacrifice for our salvation. Because He is God, we can boldly step out in faith and discover a life filled with purpose and joy. Because He is God, we are free to serve Him wholeheartedly.

Application:

  1. Reflect on Your Sacrifices: Take time this week to identify areas in your life where you may need to sacrifice for the sake of the Gospel. Consider what you’re willing to give up—time, resources, or comfort—to serve God more fully.
  2. Step Out in Faith: Choose one specific action that requires you to step out of your comfort zone. This could be sharing your faith with someone, volunteering in your community, or contributing to your church’s mission. Write down your plan and take action.
  3. Journal Your Journey: Keep a journal to document your experiences as you step out in faith. Reflect on any fears or doubts you face and how God helps you overcome them. This will serve as a reminder of His faithfulness.
  4. Pray for Boldness: Set aside time each day to pray specifically for boldness and clarity in sharing the Gospel. Ask God to open doors for conversations and opportunities to serve others.
  5. Connect with Community: Engage with your church or a small group to discuss your commitment to living out your faith. Share your goals and encourage one another in your journeys. Accountability can strengthen your resolve.
  6. Celebrate God’s Provision: As you take steps in faith, be mindful of how God provides for you. Celebrate the small victories and the ways He shows up in your life, reinforcing your trust in His unchanging nature.

By actively applying these steps, you’ll deepen your understanding of God’s call and experience the freedom that comes from living a life dedicated to Him.

“When we give our lives to God, only then do we discover maximum freedom.”

Prayer:

Heavenly Father, Thank You for the boundless love and grace You have shown me. I am grateful for Jesus and the incredible gift of salvation that transforms my life. Lord, I recognize that this gift brings me freedom—not just from sin, but to serve You with all my heart and soul. I ask that You remove any fear or doubt that clouds my mind and holds me back. Help me to fully surrender my life to You, to trust in Your plans, and to boldly step out in faith. Use me as an instrument for Your Kingdom, guiding my actions and words to reflect Your love and truth. May my life be a testimony of Your goodness, and may I continually seek to glorify You in all I do. In Jesus’ name, I pray, Amen.

October 14th 2025 – Hide and Seek

Scripture Reading:

“If you seek me with all your heart, you will find me” (Jeremiah 29:13-14).

“But if from there you seek the LORD your God, you will find him if you look for him with all your heart and with all your soul” (Deuteronomy 4:29).

Reflection:

God invites us to seek Him wholeheartedly. When we pursue Him with every fiber of our being, He promises that we will find Him. This reminds me of the joy of playing hide and seek with my children when they were little. They would close their eyes and count, their excitement building as they anticipated the search.

While I would find a hiding spot, they would eagerly explore every nook and cranny, opening closet doors and checking under beds. The thrill of searching was always fun, but the true joy came when they finally found me. I’d shout, “You found me!” and their delighted response, “I found you!” would lead to a celebration, marking the end of the game.

If my goal had been to hide in a place where they could never find me, the game wouldn’t have been enjoyable. The excitement lies in the discovery. Similarly, in our relationship with God, He doesn’t hide from us so well that we cannot find Him.

“If you seek Jesus with all your heart, you will find Him.” Hint… He is Right Here.”

Prayer:

Heavenly Father, I thank You for the promise that You are always near and that we can find You when we seek with all our heart. I am grateful that You do not hide Yourself from me, but instead, You invite me into a deeper relationship with You. Help me to pursue You with passion and dedication, to seek You in every moment of my life.

As I embark on this journey, instill in me a child-like anticipation and excitement for the moments we share together. Teach me to recognize Your presence in my daily life and to trust in Your guidance. May my heart be open to the whispers of Your Spirit, leading me closer to You.

I pray that my desire to know You more intimately grows stronger each day, and that I may bring others along this journey of discovery. May I celebrate every encounter with You, rejoicing in the joy of being found. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
