Our statement of faith outlines the core Christian beliefs, rooted in the teachings of the Bible. Here’s a brief summary of each point:

1. The Bible:
Both the Old and New Testaments are seen as divinely inspired, without error, and authoritative for faith and practice.

2. God:
God exists eternally as a Trinity—Father, Son, and Holy Spirit—each fully God, sharing the same essence and deserving equal worship.

3. Man:
Humanity was created in God’s image but fell into sin, which affected all of humanity with a sinful nature

4. Jesus Christ:
Jesus is both fully God and fully man, born of a virgin, sinless in His life, and possessing absolute deity.

5. Atonement for Sin:
Jesus’ death was a sacrifice that paid the penalty for humanity’s sin, acting as a substitution for us.

6. The Resurrection:
Jesus physically rose from the dead, ascended to heaven, and continues to intercede for believers.

7. Salvation:
We believe that salvation is a gift from God, offered purely by His grace. It is received through personal faith in Jesus Christ and results in a transformed life that naturally reflects an attitude and actions pleasing to God.

8. The Holy Spirit:
The Holy Spirit is given to believers as a helper, uniting them in Christ, bestowing spiritual gifts, and convicting the world of sin.

9. Indwelling of the Spirit:
While all believers are indwelt by the Holy Spirit, a distinct experience, known as the baptism of the Holy Spirit, empowers believers for service.

10. Ordinances of the Church:
The Church observes two key ordinances—Baptism by immersion and the Lord’s Supper—as acts of obedience for believers.

11. Eternity:
Believers are promised eternal life, while unbelievers face eternal punishment. This includes belief in Christ’s future return as the Church’s “Blessed Hope.”

Our doctrine represents a traditional, evangelical Christian perspective, emphasizing core aspects of faith such as the authority of Scripture, the Trinity, salvation by grace, the role of the Holy Spirit, and the hope of Christ’s return.
