October 11th 2025 – Crossroads of Faith: Choosing the Path of Hope

Scripture Reading:

“This is what the Lord says: ‘Stand at the crossroads and look; ask for the ancient paths, ask where the good way is, and walk in it, and you will find rest for your souls.’ But you said, ‘We will not walk in it.’ I appointed watchmen over you and said, ‘Listen to the sound of the trumpet!’ But you said, ‘We will not listen.’ Therefore, hear, you nations; observe, you witnesses; what will happen to them. Hear, O earth; I am bringing disaster on this people, the fruit of their schemes, because they have not listened to my words and have rejected my law.” (Jeremiah 6:16-19)

Reflection:
In these verses, God calls His people to stand at a crossroads and choose the good path. Yet, many reject His guidance, choosing instead to follow their own desires. This rejection leads to dire consequences, as we see in verse 19, where God warns of impending disaster due to the people’s refusal to heed His warnings.

Today, we witness the rumblings of the earth—natural disasters, diseases, and chaos. Could these be signs of our collective turning away from God, as the people of Jeremiah’s time did? The chaos around us might be a reflection of our hearts, which have wandered from the Lord’s teachings.

As we reflect on these truths, we must recognize that not only individuals but also nations, including the United States, stand at a crossroads. The divisions within our societies are palpable. As God’s people move among the nations, we are called to be voices of truth and reconciliation. It is crucial that we embody the love of Christ and stand firm in our faith, even amid the discord that surrounds us. We must not shy away from sharing the ancient paths of righteousness that God has laid out for us.

Call to Action:
In light of this, we are reminded of 2 Chronicles 7:14:
“If my people, who are called by my name, will humble themselves and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven and will forgive their sin and will heal their land.”

To my fellow Christians, now is the time to turn away from anything that distracts us from our relationship with God. Let us lean into His teachings and be diligent in our pursuit of righteousness, serving as beacons of hope in a world that desperately needs His light.

To those who do not yet know Jesus, I urge you to turn away from your ways and seek Him. He stands ready to open your eyes and hearts. If you seek Him earnestly, you will find that He is faithful and will transform your life in ways you never thought possible.

“At the crossroads of life, our choices define our journey; may we seek the ancient paths of righteousness and embrace the transformative love of Christ.”

Prayer:
Heavenly Father, we come before You with grateful hearts, thanking You for Your guidance and the ancient paths You provide. Help us to recognize when we stray and give us the strength to turn back to You with humility. For those of us who know You, may we be unwavering in our faith and diligent in sharing Your love with others. We lift up those who do not yet know You, Lord. Open their eyes and hearts to Your truth. May they feel the gentle tug of Your Spirit drawing them closer to You. Help us to be bold and compassionate in our efforts to share the message of Jesus, that they may experience the hope and transformation that comes from a relationship with Him.May we take action, equipped with the courage to speak Your truth in love, and may our lives reflect Your light in a world full of darkness. We trust in Your promise to hear our prayers and to heal our land as we seek Your face. In Jesus’ name, we pray, Amen.

Conclusion:
As we reflect on Jeremiah’s warnings, let us commit to walking in the good way and encouraging others to do the same. Time is precious; let us not wait until it is too late to seek the Lord and embrace the life He offers. In a time of division and uncertainty, may we be beacons of hope and truth, guiding others toward the ancient paths that lead to peace and restoration.

August 6th 2025 – Will We See Our Loved Ones in Heaven?

“He will wipe every tear from their eyes. There will be no more death or mourning or crying or pain, for the old order of things has passed away.” (Revelation 21:4)

The question of whether we will see our loved ones in heaven is one that stirs deep emotions within us. It is natural to long for the comfort of knowing that those we cherish will be with us in eternity. The promise of heaven offers us hope, and it is this hope that fuels our mission to share our faith with others.

Why we must have a conversation about Jesus with our loved ones.

As believers, we are called to share the message of Jesus with our unsaved loved ones. This calling is rooted in love, hope, and the understanding of eternal consequences. We need to remember that every interaction we have can plant a seed of faith. Our relationships with our family and friends are often the most impactful, as they see our daily lives and witness our faith in action.

Yet, what happens when our loved ones are not receptive to the Gospel? It can be disheartening, but even in those moments, we must continue to shine as a “lamp on a hill” (Matthew 5:14). Our lives serve as beacons of light in this dark world, and our unwavering faith can be a powerful testimony. People watch us, sometimes more closely than we realize.

Being diligent in our faith means living out the values of Christ in our daily actions. It encompasses kindness, patience, forgiveness, and love, even when faced with rejection or indifference. This authenticity and consistency can eventually break down barriers and open hearts to the message of salvation.

Take a moment to reflect on the loved ones in your life who may not yet know Jesus. Are there ways you can be a light to them? How can you demonstrate your faith in practical, loving ways? Remember that your actions may speak louder than words, and your steadfastness in faith can leave a lasting impression.

“Be diligent in sharing Jesus, for the end days are upon us; His return will come like a thief in the night, and every soul matters in the light of eternity.”

Prayer:

Heavenly Father, thank You for the promise of eternal life with You and the hope of reuniting with our loved ones in heaven. Help us to be persistent in sharing Your love and truth with those who do not yet know You. Give us patience and understanding as we navigate our relationships, especially when faced with rejection. May our lives be a reflection of Your light, drawing others closer to You. Let us shine brightly in the darkness, and help us to remain diligent in our faith. In Jesus’ name, we pray. Amen.
