January 1st 2026 – Revive & Thrive: A Year of New Possibilities

Scripture Reading:

“Then He who sat on the throne said, ‘Behold, I make all things new.’” (Revelation 21:5)

Reflection:

As we stand at the threshold of a new year, this verse resonates deeply. It invites us to embrace the possibilities that lie ahead and reminds us that each day is a chance for renewal in our walk with the Lord. What awaits us in this new year? I believe God has remarkable plans tailored for each of us and for our church community.

Reflecting on the past year, we’ve witnessed God’s miraculous works. I eagerly anticipate a year filled with family and friends coming to know Him more intimately. We can expect to see many grow from seekers to devoted disciples. If you haven’t read the Bible cover to cover, I encourage you to take on this challenge this year. We are living in extraordinary times where Scripture and prophecy are unfolding right before our eyes.

For some, this new year may present an opportunity for a fresh start. It’s a chance to renew our commitments. While we may not know what challenges or blessings await us, we can move forward without fear, knowing that Jesus walks alongside us.

What an incredible adventure awaits, all made possible by new beginnings. Thank You, Lord, for this gift of a fresh start!

“Jesus makes all things new… including you.”

Prayer:

Heavenly Father, As we step into this new year, I come before You with a heart full of gratitude and hope. Thank You for the gift of a fresh start, for each new day that You grant us, and for the endless opportunities to grow closer to You. This past year has been filled with both challenges and victories, and through it all, Your faithfulness has shone brightly in my life.

Lord, I ask that You help me embrace the potential of this new year. Fill my heart with a renewed spirit and a thirst for knowledge of Your Word. Let me be diligent in seeking You, whether through daily prayer, Bible study, or simply spending quiet moments in Your presence. I desire to deepen my relationship with You and to understand Your will for my life more clearly.

As I set my resolutions, I pray for strength and perseverance. Help me to make commitments that reflect my love for You and my desire to serve others. May these resolutions be rooted in faith, not just aspirations that fade away. I ask that You guide me in using my time and resources wisely, that I may be a blessing to those around me.

Lord, as we embark on this journey together, I know there will be trials ahead. I may face uncertainties, heartaches, and challenges that test my faith. In those moments, remind me of Your everlasting presence. Help me to lean on You for strength and guidance, trusting that You hold my future in Your hands.

I pray for those in my life—family, friends, and even those I may not know well. May this year be a time of healing, growth, and connection for all of us. I ask that You open doors for conversations about faith and that many come to know Your love and grace. Use me as an instrument of Your peace and hope in the lives of others.

Thank You, Lord, for the promise that You make all things new. I am excited about the adventures that await and the plans You have for me. May my life reflect Your light in a world that so desperately needs it. I pray all these things in the precious name of Jesus, Amen.

As we enter this fresh new year, consider inviting Jesus into your heart.

December 31st 2025 – Journey into Renewal: Starting Anew with Christ

Scripture Reading:

“Forget the former things; do not dwell on the past. See, I am doing a new thing! Now it springs up; do you not perceive it? I am making a way in the wilderness and streams in the wasteland.” (Isaiah 43:18-19)

Reflection:

As we continue to reflect on the past year, it’s essential to acknowledge both the joys and challenges we’ve faced. Each experience has shaped us, reminding us of God’s faithfulness. This scripture encourages us not to be stuck in what has already happened but to look forward with hope and expectation for what God is about to do in our lives.

Think about the moments in the past year that brought you joy—perhaps a new friendship, a personal achievement, or a moment of laughter with loved ones. These blessings are testaments to God’s goodness.

Now consider the challenges you encountered. Maybe you faced loss, disappointment, or uncertainty. These experiences can be painful, yet they often lead to growth and deeper reliance on God. Reflect on how these trials have drawn you closer to Him, reminding you of His strength and comfort in times of need.

Take a moment to write down these blessings and challenges. Acknowledging both can help us gain perspective as we move forward.

Commitment for the New Year:
As we prepare to enter a new year, let’s take a moment to commit our plans and desires to the Lord. Reflect on what you hope to achieve and how you want to grow sritually.

Scripture for Guidance:

“Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways submit to Him, and He will make your paths straight.” (Proverbs 3:5-6)

“But blessed are your eyes because they see, and your ears because they hear.”
‭‭(Matthew‬ ‭13‬:‭16‬)

“As we close one chapter and open another, may we embrace the new beginnings with faith, trusting that God’s grace will guide us through every moment.”

Prayer:

Heavenly Father, as we stand on the threshold of a new year, we come before You with humble hearts. We thank You for the gift of life and the experiences that have shaped us over the past year. We recognize Your faithfulness in our lives, even in the midst of challenges.

Help us, Lord, to let go of any burdens we carry from the past. Teach us to forgive those who have wronged us and to seek forgiveness from those we may have hurt. May we find peace in Your embrace and strength in Your promises.

As we look to the future, guide our steps, and illuminate the path ahead. Fill our hearts with hope and our minds with clarity as we seek to fulfill Your will in our lives. May this year be one of growth, renewal, and deeper intimacy with You.

Let us be instruments of Your love and peace in the world, sharing the good news of Your grace with those around us. In every decision we make, may we lean on You and trust in Your perfect plan. In Jesus’ name, we pray. Amen.
