“For if I am an offender, or have committed anything deserving of death, I do not object to dying; but if there is nothing in these things of which these men accuse me, no one can deliver me to them. I appeal to Caesar.” (Acts 25:11)
What does God see when He looks at you? He sees you clearly, right where you are. God knows your potential because He created you and is aware of the gifts and talents He has bestowed upon you. He understands how He intends to use you to love and serve Him and others. Often, God works through the unexpected aspects of our lives. In Acts 25, we witness God using Paul’s Roman citizenship as a platform for him to share the Gospel before King Agrippa and a vast audience in the amphitheater at Caesarea. Just like Paul, God can use you to accomplish remarkable things right where you are. No gift or talent is too great or too small, and no circumstance is too challenging—God can work through it all.
Do you desire to be used by God? You can begin your journey right where you are—in your home, at your workplace, and in your church. How are you serving God today? How do you envision serving Him a month from now or even a year from now? I encourage you to take the initiative to serve God starting today. There’s an incredible adventure ahead of you; a miraculous mission awaits if you choose to embrace it. God will utilize you in ways you never deemed possible.
“God wants to work through you right where you are with what you have right now.”
Prayer:
Heavenly Father, thank You for loving me. Thank You for the gifts, talents, and circumstances You have given me. I commit to using my gifts to glorify You, starting today. I pray this in Jesus’ name, Amen.
