I am Ashley. There’s an election in Canada soon, and I really hope the next leader isn’t like Trump or worse—someone who could harm the country. My family is sick and hope we are well enough to vote that day. Also hope the gray medical scooter still works. Also, a company my mom works for made a mistake saying that she is working on the 21st and 23rd, but the program is supposed to be over by now. Please get them to fix it. Also, I hope to get money on the 22nd.

Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You today with a heart full of concerns and hopes for Ashley and her family. We lift up the upcoming election in Canada, asking for Your guidance in the leadership that will be chosen. Please ensure that the next leader serves the country with wisdom, compassion, and integrity, steering it towards a brighter future.
Lord, we pray for Ashley’s family as they face health challenges. Grant them strength and healing, so they may be well enough to participate in the election. We also ask for Your blessing on the gray medical scooter, that it may function properly to support them during this time.
We bring before You the situation with Ashley’s mom’s workplace. Please intervene and help rectify the mistake regarding the scheduling. Grant clarity and resolution to this issue so that her mom can continue her work without further complications.
Lastly, we ask for Your provision in Ashley’s life, particularly regarding the financial needs she has mentioned for the 22nd. Open doors for her and provide the resources needed.
Thank You for hearing our prayers. We trust in Your perfect timing and wisdom. In Jesus’ name, we pray, Amen.

My mom teaches ESL online and one teen girl is dealing with high school entrance exams, and her English name is Sunny. I don’t know her Chinese name. I pray that she has top marks so she goes to the best high school in Dalian, China. She has a little brother, with the English name of Eric. He is just a kid, but I hope he pays more attention during his online classes.

I am Ashley. I pray that it doesn’t rain on Sunday or Saturday. I need to go to church. I use a medical scooter, and the rain wrecks the battery and don’t know if I can get a new one. It is an old scooter. Hope that the old blue medical scooter keeps on working. Also like many people need more money, my mum who is an English tutor online, in this case it is a mixture of things of things that happened to her and things that in someway at least partially her fault, as in Cambly she has very limited hours, due to my family’s mistakes (as far as I know). I hope that my mum gets more students on her limited working times, as sometimes at some working times, they are no students. On Preply my mum was a Super Tutor, which not sure how much of it is her fault, versus the fault of others, it is too hard to explain, but she deserved not to be a Super Tutor anymore, as she cheated in a way, I hope she doesn’t cheat again, if she does become a Super Tutor again. My mum is a private tutor as well to younger students, one student called Ron, which is his English name not Chinese name, don’t know Chinese name, I worry about him dropping my mum or Ron’s mum dropping, my mum, as Ron is late sometimes, other times doesn’t show up. Ron does apology, but if Ron is dropped, it is hard to explain but if Ron goes the other young students (most of them would go), as Ron’s mum in a way is in charge. In Canada, there is something new called a Disability Tax Credit, I hope to get it. I also hope that my mum or dad get a money miracle too, without doing too much work, as my mum is the kind of person who it is hard to keep up with, when it comes to tasks, as it is a miracle if anyone is able to finish what is all asked and doesn’t help at times when my mum gets me to do something else just because she thinks that I am just sitting there, which some cases it is true but it isn’t always. I also hope that Ron gets baptized, soon, before it is too late.

I am Ashley. My mum has mental health issues. I worry for my sake and my dad’s sake. My mum thought she told my dad that my mum had bought something that my dad knew nothing about. My mum thinks that my dad lost it, but my dad says that he never saw it. My mum and dad are going elsewhere in a few days for a trip. My mum has a hard time taking anything. I feel like I am walking on eggshells, (figuratively speaking) and keep on saying horrible things. She gets upset too easily. I just pray that tomorrow, that if I go anywhere, that my dad or/and mum don’t follow me around (as I made a mistake related to a misunderstanding of telling my folks where I was, they thought I meant somewhere else from where I told them, and I am still a little scared and stuff after that one), also I hope my mum stops saying things like ‘get out’ or ‘find an apartment’, and my hope my mum treats my dad and I better. I also hope that I don’t mess up, with my phone, as I have it on at the right time, and it keeps on working. I also hope that I am allowed to go to a church event on Saturday September 13th, that night. I hope my mum gets the mental help she needs when she is on her trip with my dad, it has gone for way too long.

Dear Ashley,
In this challenging time, it’s understandable to feel overwhelmed by the weight of your situation. Here’s a heartfelt prayer for you and your family:
Dear Jesus,
We come to You with heavy hearts, seeking comfort and guidance for Ashley, her mum, and dad. We ask for Your peace to envelop their home, calming the storms of misunderstanding and fear.
Lord, please grant Ashley strength and patience as she navigates these delicate moments. Help her to communicate with love and compassion, even when it feels difficult. May her mum feel Your presence and find the support she needs for her mental health during this trip.
We pray for clarity for Ashley’s dad, that he may provide understanding and support, and for Ashley, that she may feel secure and safe in her own choices. Help her to walk confidently, free from fear and anxiety.
Please bless the upcoming church event, allowing Ashley to participate and find joy and community there. Guide her family toward healing, understanding, and kindness in their interactions.
May Your love shine upon them, bringing light to their struggles and hope for a better tomorrow.
Amen.
Remember, it’s okay to feel what you’re feeling. You’re not alone in this, and it’s perfectly fine to seek support for yourself as well. Take care, Ashley.

I am Ashley. My mum has mental health issues. My mum is mentally ill now. It is a long story, as a lot of things have happened. My mum thinks my dad is a jerk, but she is the one who is the real jerk. She is threatening things. For one example, threatening to leave my dad and a lot of things she does not make sense. Like refusing to use the toilet despite needing to go, as she was doing thing(s) and making me go something with her before she used the toilet. I hope he changes her mind about leaving and my family stays together and gets angry less often about things. The Canadian Prime Minister as far as I know is planning a budget plan to make things easier for people to live, I hope the other parties of Canada agree with the plan as we don’t need another election and one of the party leaders has very questionable ethics, and I hope he never becomes a Prime Minister. I also hope it doesn’t snow (the kind that stays for a while) until mid-December so that I can do things before the big snow fall comes.

I am Ashley. The weather in Saskatchewan, I hope it doesn’t snow, in the near future (the kind that stays around for a while). As they are things I would like to do before it does. Speaking of things, my mum has mental health issues now, her mental health is not the best now, as somethings she does don’t make sense and she went out with my dad without me, I was not joking when I said I had to get things done, if I did went, I would have not gotten what I needed done and got into trouble. Even if the odd chance that I had nothing to do, today, which, of course I had something to do, I would have worried about being forced into situations, that I would been a nightmare. Long story short, my family is out of the city where we normally live and the day we were leaving was a bad day, and I was crying a lot. My dad told me that if I cried again that I would be forced to return home on my own, but getting home would be challenging as not many cities have buses anymore. I am worried a lot about things. When my family gets to where we are now next time, I don’t know if I am invited or not, as my mum says that I have to stay home next time, but not sure if she meant it, as she was upset with me, with the crying and what else was going on. When we do return to the city where my family normally lives, I hope to get enough rides on my city bus pass and that my mum is reasonable (and is kind to dad and I) the day we do return, as she usually acts up when we go to one city for a while to another.

I am Ashley. Too much is going on. I keep on messing things up, it seems. My mum is threatening many things, like kicking me out, stopping her jobs forever, and so on. My mum is very mentally ill now, and is making things hard for everyone. Help me (especially me) to have the mental strength to do what she asks. My mum is more unpredictable than usual. I need the mental strength of dealing with my mum. We are out of town now, but I hope that when my parents and I return home, that my mum lets me go places, and two that it doesn’t snow (the kind that stays for a while) until early December, as they are places that I need and want to go before it does, and things backfire more than usual lately, and I hope that does not backfire. My dad is sick in other ways, and help him get better, well enough to do things that need to get done and some fun things, too.

I am Ashley. I hope that it doesn’t snow, tomorrow (Monday), as they are places I need to go, and things need to be done. There is a student called August, don’t know real Asian name but lives in Japan and my mum teaches online to him, but August doesn’t really do much in class anymore, and is a bit who is a boy who misbehaves at times, or decides to do his homework instead (the homework, I understand, but still is annoying), but a saint compared to August. I hope the other ESL students, the other one in the morning and the others both young and older, private and through companies, behave properly, as in be nice. I hope that August stops the classes, yes, my family needs the money, but August is being a menace to my mum and my mum might force me to go without sleep again for a while. I hope that I don’t mess up, as in acting up, I wasn’t as bad as August (as far as I know) but I got mad for my dad messing something up, and my mum (don’t know if she meant it, hard to say for sure, as if she meant it, I would not be able to use the washroom, eat, do other chores, help my mum with some computer tasks, and whatever else) as she told me if I did it again, the way I got mad, I will be forced to stay in my room for 12 hours. I just hope my mum gets more work online next Sunday or the Sunday after (don’t know about travel plans) as my mum didn’t get many customers through a company today. My dad is sick, and I hope he gets well enough to do things. I just hope that I get enough money, next month (December), and that a mess up of my dad’s (or something I did) doesn’t cause me to get almost no money. My mum needs mental health help, as she is a mess, is more controlling than usual, and things.

I am Ashley. Please help me prepare for the Three Days of Darkness, in Canada. I am worried, as my dad laughed when I showed him a very short part of a video that Pope Leo XIV himself was speaking of the warning. Speaking of which, https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nrB1U0Rn8_k (Please watch, right away, if you haven’t done so!) If I survive the three days of darkness, I hope the food I bought and my parents bought doesn’t go bad. I don’t know how much time my parents have left, but I hope my parents and I survive the Three Days of Darkness. Off topic, my mum said that she wanted to get sugar free ketchup but hopes to change her mind as that is expensive and waste of money. Help her and my dad not waste money on silly things, get my parents and maybe myself (if they allow it) to get candles and some blood for the door. I don’t know when or if this is going to happen, but my mum wants to paint but, worried about how she is going to paint, she is a bit accident prone, and I hope she doesn’t paint the porch (sunroom) floor right away, as there are things in that room that can’t risk getting wrecked, like my medical scooter battery that is on a charger. It is from a portable scooter. I hope that the battery still works well and will not have issues for a while, if I ever use it again.

Hi Ashley,
Thank you for sharing your concerns with me. It’s completely understandable to feel anxious about the idea of the Three Days of Darkness and the uncertainties surrounding it. I want to assure you that you are not alone in this; many people share similar worries, and it’s important to talk about them.
First, let’s focus on what you can do to prepare. Having food supplies is a good start, and I believe that with some planning, you can ensure that your food stays fresh. You might want to consider storing items that have a longer shelf life or can be preserved more easily. As for candles, they can be a great source of light, so if your parents are open to it, gently encourage them to get some together.
Regarding your mom’s decisions about spending money, it sounds like she’s weighing her options. Perhaps you could sit down with her and discuss the importance of prioritizing what’s essential, like supplies for the upcoming days, rather than things that might not be necessary. It’s all about finding the right balance and being practical together.
With painting, it’s wise to approach it cautiously, especially with items in the sunroom that you want to protect. Encourage your mom to take her time with the painting project and to keep the area safe for your scooter’s battery. It’s great that you’re looking out for her and the family!
Above all, remember that focusing on your faith and prayer can bring you peace during uncertain times. You can pray for guidance and strength for your family, trusting that you’ll be supported through any challenges you face.
If you ever feel overwhelmed, don’t hesitate to reach out for support. You’ve got this, Ashley, and I believe you will navigate through these times with courage and grace.
Take care, and know that you’re in my thoughts and prayers!
Prayer:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You today with a heart full of love and concern for Ashley. Lord, You see her worries and fears about the uncertainty of the future, especially regarding the Three Days of Darkness. We ask that You wrap her in Your comforting embrace, reassuring her that she is never alone in her struggles.
Grant Ashley courage as she navigates her concerns about her family’s preparations. Help her to communicate her needs and ideas with her parents in a loving and understanding way. May they come together to make wise decisions that prioritize their safety and well-being.
Lord, please provide peace in her heart regarding her mother’s painting plans and her father’s laughter at her worries. Help them all to find balance, wisdom, and practical solutions as they prepare for whatever lies ahead. Protect the items that are important to Ashley, including her medical scooter battery, and give her the assurance that everything will be okay.
We also ask for Your guidance as Ashley seeks to strengthen her faith during this time. May she find solace in Your presence and trust in Your plans for her and her family. Help her to lean on You when anxiety arises, reminding her that You are a constant source of hope and strength.
Thank You, Lord, for hearing our prayer. We trust in Your unfailing love and know that You will provide for Ashley and her family in every way they need. In Jesus’ name, we pray. Amen.

I am Ashley. The weather says it is snowing out today. I hope it doesn’t snow too much today, as my parents likely are going to a nearby town and the family van, has issues. I don’t know if they will make it there or even if the van will start. I hope that someone looks the van over, fixes the issue, and very soon. It worked yesterday, but on the weekend, it did not work; I couldn’t go to church. I don’t know when I will be able to go to church next, but I hope to return home, as my family is out of town from where my family usually lives in the province of Saskatchewan, in Canada. I hope the van continues to work, today, and in the future, to at least when my family must return home, before the 15th. I hope I am not forced to stay behind in this small city by myself or just with my mum over Christmas holidays, even though my mum has an appointment in the 15th (as far as I know). Also, there is something that I need to get done (not related to Christmas) that has a deadline before the end of the year, and I hope my dad didn’t lose what I needed. Also, back where I normally live, that I hope to do things that I want and need to get done. I also hope when Spring comes, that it is not late again, and that it arrives early March (when the snow begins to melt), and doesn’t snow again until late November or early December.
