“So also is the resurrection of the dead. The body is sown in corruption, it is raised in incorruption. It is sown in dishonor, it is raised in glory. It is sown in weakness, it is raised in power.” (1 Corinthians 15:42-43)
A seed… such a small thing, yet out of it; a giant redwood tree can grow. This is not unlike us. When we are born again, we are given a deposit of God’s Holy Spirit. This Spirit is the beginning of God’s transformation in our lives.
(Ephesians 1:13-14) “In Him you also trusted, after you heard the word of truth, the gospel of your salvation; in whom also, having believed, you were sealed with the Holy Spirit of promise, who is the guarantee of our inheritance until the redemption of the purchased possession, to the praise of His glory.”
The amazing reality is that not only is God depositing His Spirit in us, He is preparing us for our heavenly bodies and fellowship with Him for eternity. As the Spirit of God begins changing us, we begin walking more and more in the Spirit. And as a result, we’re displaying the heavenly work happening within us. When at the end of our life the Lord finishes changing us, we will continue walking as spiritual men and women of God for all eternity.
Heaven should get into us before we get into Heaven.
Prayer
Dear God, It is amazing to think of the gift that has been planted in me. Through Your Holy Spirit, help me to live a heavenly life; one that is eternally minded. Keep me focused on what is important and allow me to share the gift of Christ and our glorious future with others. In Jesus’ glorious name, Amen

“Our Father in heaven, HOLY is Your Name. Your kingdom come, Your will be done, on earth as it is in heaven. For give us this day, our daily bread, and forgive us our sins, as we forgive others. And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil. For Yours’ is the Kingdom, the Power, and the Glory forever in Jesus. Amen”

“Heaven should get into us before we get into Heaven.”
I love the use of words here… Something we should definitely meditate on daily…
I conceive this in so many ways…
1. Meditating on his word
2. Praising his name throughout each and everyday
3. Giving thanks and all glory to him
4. Good works, but not in the mentality of the old law. More so in the idea of building his kingdom and nothing more. Something only a humble heart would understand.
5. Communion amongst your Christain brothers and fellow man.
There is so much more… I’m sure anyone reading through my brief statement could think of several key points to include. The main idea that I’m emphasising is how God can easy be a part of all our daily
Lifes. This is how I see heaven getting in us first before we get into heaven.
